re: Repeat Cesarean or Vbac?

I have a very long time left! I am not due until the 21st of September but I refuse to schedule a section I will only have one if it completely needed!

I HATE that i can't try for a VBAC. My pelvis is just too small and for whatever reason my babies are big. I say give it a shot! That way you'll never regret not trying.

im going to try for a vbac since my last child was 4 1/2 years ago i think it will go okay i just wanna be able to experience natural child birth and i hate that you have to be stuck in the hospital for 3-4 days after a c-section and my hospital of choice does them im just having a hard time finding a doctor that has my views so i'm honestly thinking a mid wife that's willing to help me birth in a hospital setting it just seems safer to me that way and the only reason i had my first c-section was because my labor failed to progress after 17 hours i was dilating very slow in those 17 hours i only dilated 4 1/2 centimeters i guess my doctor was inpatient so im steering clear of him i was also induced 2 days before my due date so im not gonna do that again i guess baby will come when he/she is good and ready

I was also thinking about a mid wife! They just don't push you and are very supportive and that's something that I want!

My first was a natural birth and my second was a c-section, due to him being 11.4 pounds!! He even got stuck on the way out through c-section.  

Im wanting to have another baby in 5 years or so, and when Im tryin to conceive, I am going on jenny craig or something to make sure the baby isnt going to get too big.
I had a planned c-section for July 22nd, got prepped and everythign, and the nurses offered support to me, so i told the doctor that i wanted to have a trial labor, he was not happy at all. So my SO and I went home and did everythign we could to get me to go into labour, we had fun with eachother, and sure enough, my water broke, so I went in the next morning, and I was 5 CM's   But I decided to go through with the c-section, even though the on-call doctor that I had was really supportive in what ever decision I wanted. That realyl helped out a lot!! Im wanting to have her next time I have a baby!!

I had a c-section with my first....but I had her in kansas....and I only live a few miles from the nebraska/kansas line..and kansas doesnot do vbacs...so with my second two I had to go outta of state to do a vbal which were were seccesfuland now I'm pregnant with my 4th and gonna be doing another vbak in nebraska which I hope will be succesdull to....

i researched alot of info last night and the most helpful site is www.ican.com it lets you know that repeat c-sections are actually more dangerous then vbac's and that most are successful

actually my doctor told me the same thing. she made me feel alot better about trying the Vbac. so in the next 4-5 days, if baby isnt coming on his own Im going to start trying to make him come out LOL!! thanks everyone for your support!

I had no intentions of scheduling a Csection but they told me they HAVE to schedule something in the book, I coulda picked a date up to 41 weeks, and prolly should have, but work is getting really hard and we were aiming for FEB so I just scheduled as far into Feb as possible
