Help with a Med. for someone with PCOS..

Sorry for asking but I do not know which one to take. I have PCOS and my doctor want to put me on Metformen or one other med. to conceive. Is there something else to ask for to best help me coneive, if anyone knows???? 

I'm guessing clomid? You'll prob be on met anyway as I was on that for my insulin but it does make you more fertile.

I am on Metformin (for PCOS) all the time - and while I was TTC my first child I was put on Clomid.

I go back to the doctor on the 16th so I will ask about it.

I was all the time but for some reason he took me off it while pregnant. Said I'll go back on it after I have the baby though and that it actually helps with milk supply (according to the LCs)

I was on it my entire pregnancy also. I had to go IVF so my RE didn't want to risk taking me off of it.

I haven't used it at all while pregnant by my sugars and stuff have been normal so maybe she regulated it out? I don't know to be honest but everything is good he did say I'll be back on it afterwards.

Hmm, my sugar is fine... I'm on it only to decrease the size of my cysts. Maybe that is the difference. I'm sure it depends on the person and what the reason is that your taking the medicine.

Yep mine was mainly because I produced too much insulin which made my sugar drop fast. I did the 3 hour glucose testing when I wasn't pregnant and the first hour was high then it dropped fast so he put me on it.

I did the test while pregnant and it was normal so I'm guessing that's why he didn't put me back on it once I stopped. (He had me stop when I found out I was pregnant)
