re: Damn I know Iowa is small BUT damn!

I havent been to the fair since I was little. Now that I am a parent, I am not sure if I am brave enough to take my kids. Its hot, they will complain, and they will want to ride rides all day ant that gets expensive! haha, I think we will sit this year out.

I have only been to the state fair maybe a total of 3 times i haven't gone very many times. and last year i only went because my mom gave me free tickets to a concert. but thats all i saw. lol. So this year i am actually going for the second time to actually see everything.   My parents would never take us kids to the state fair theyd take us to the county fair but that was it. lol Im excited to go!

i wish gabriel would have but just rather been held and he was very restless but before we even got back to dennis' dads to get his truck he was trying to fall alseep but we tried to keep him awake till we atleast got back to his dads so we could change his diaper and once we got back in the car to head home he was out instantly.
I would have to say my most favorite part of the parade though was the dancing horses and gabriel liked them.

yeah they are really good!!! i saw them for the first time a couple weeks ago at a summer festival thing they had here in indianola and gabriel really liked them

We are going to try to go to the state fair this year. The last time I was there was 1998!

ive heard one of them is gonna be of shawn johnson. and the ice sculpture is gonna be of the other iowan going to the olympics. thats just what i heard idk for sure though

I used to dance with shawn, its so weird shes in the olympics & all famous n stff haha... that would be awesome!!!
