Hi everyone! Hope yall had a good 4th. I am finally back from vaca so I should be on a bit more. I posted all about it...it was kind of blah lol.

Braden just turned 1 last week so I have been super busy. He finally cut his first tooth on Saturday at his birthday party... YAY!!!

yes... he is so stinking cute!!!! How is your little one?

She's doing great! Growing like a weed   She's already 11 lbs. 13 oz. How is your little guy?

I take him on Monday for his 1 year check up. My guess is that he is somewhere between 21-23 lbs. He cut his first tooth Saturday and has taken 1-2 steps (he is still scared). He also now give kisses, waves bye bye (and attempts to say it), and gives high fives... My little boy is getting so big 

Awww lots of updates! Im glad u all are doing well! Charlie is too cute huh!? And KT....urs turned one WOW! How exciting! Awww, I miss u all! I can't wait to get the wireless up at my house...stealing internet for now is working though but shhhh lol

DES MOINES – A Des Moines woman suffered multiple injuries following a jet ski collision Saturday at Saylorville Lake.

27-year-old Kasey Aiken, was knocked unconscious when a jet ski she was operating collided with a jet ski being operated by 20-year-old Melisande Hinds, of Des Moines at approximately 2:30 p.m. Saturday south of the marina. Aiken was transported to a Des Moines hospital by Polk City Ambulance.

17-year-old Michaella Hinds, of Carlisle, who was a passenger on the jet ski operated by her sister Melisande, found Aiken face down in the water and not breathing. She got Aiken turned over and administered mouth-to-mouth to get her breathing again. 24-year-old Andrea Young, 24, of Clive, was a passenger on the jet ski operated by Aiken.

All four of the jet ski riders were wearing life jackets at the time of the collision which likely saved Aiken’s life. The women were rescued from the water by a sail boat participating in a nearby regatta and operated by Bill Brock of Urbandale.

The collision occurred when the jet ski being operated by Aiken made a turn and collided with the jet ski being operated by Hinds.

The incident remains under investigation by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

Katie- I heard about this on the news last night. It was on one of our Cedar Rapids stations. I'm happy everyone was wearing life jackets. How scary. I will keep your sister in my thoughts and wish her a full recovery.

OMG, how is she? Thank goodness one of the girls knew how to give mouth to mouth in the water! Definitely praying for your sister and your family   God Bless.

Thank you girls. She is doing much better. She was released on Monday afternoon. She has 6 staples in the back of her head and is having some memory issues (she doesn't remember any of the accident) but other than that she is doing ok. My family is very thankful that Michaella was so quick to give her cpr and that bill left his boat race to put her on his boat and to take her to shore. We are forever grateful!
