Mindblowing how little sleep mommies can survive the day on.

Danny pulled one of his "I'm going to sleep from 8pm to 4:30am out of the blue" stunts, and of course, I'm expecting him to wake up at 1am for food, so here I'm watching the clock, thinking "Hey, I could sleep, but then a few minutes later he'd be awake." I'm sure y'all have been there before.

But no. Awake at 430, buttchanged and fed, and awake again at 730, and yet again at 930. x_____x

Amazingly enough, coffee turned me from zombie back to human. =D

Although, if this stunt is anything like what happened last month, he'll sleep for nine hours tonight   Dreamland, here I come!!

How about you guys? How much sleep are ya getting these days?

tyler is 2 wks 2 days and sleeps all day and then stays up most of the night

Cant catch any sleep during the day?

Pretty much the same lol,Hazel WAS sleeping thru the night for a few nights but thats gone right out the window,but shes only waking once and thats at around 4am - 4:30am so its not too bad I still get 6-7 hours sleep. 

Its amazing how well we do manaage and can still properly function at least taking care of them...we may do other things backwards but hey who cares...Its 2:30am here and my lil one is wide awake..then my 2 yr old will be awake in 5hours..

Now see, 2beloved, that's the part I'm scared of. This parenthood thing has dragged us through hell and back, and right around when Danny's two, we'll be trying for our second. I'll be clinging after BTDT moms like you guys trying to figure out how the hell you do it X___X

for the past 3-4 weeks my son has been sleeping all nihgt from 1 - 7am lol thats all night to me! i'm glad he didnt get his night and days mixed up.

You look at your kids grow everyday knowing your doing something right and take ALL the help you can get when ever someone offers to watch my 2 yr old I am out the door before they are done...LOL

And here I am after about 45 minutes of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off and the house (except the kitchen, that's Mart's job) is cleeeeeeeean.

aww sleep. its pretty much the only thing i miss from before having children....beside the falt belly.....i never thought i could go without sleep for 3 days then get 4 hours of sleep and feel refreshed.

And then there are those times when you actually could get some sleep but just can't seem to keep your eyes shut. That's my problem right now, it's 3:40 am here and Kayden is sound asleep but I just can't seem to go to sleep. All I can do is lay there and think about everything. Ugg...I just want to get some sleep.
Oh well, as soon as he wakes up I will forget all about the lack of sleep that I have. Isn'tit funny how that happens. Being a mom really does give you super powers, I can stay awake for days and I can make milk.   I shall call myself SuperMom.

It's funny, Dusty and I are naming our next child, if it's a girl, Kyra Sienna. I think Kyra is such a beautiful name.

I know exactly how you feel. I keep getting told to just 'go lay down and rest a bit', and I keep telling them 'get bent, that's worse than just getting up and occupying myself into drowsiness'.
