re: How far along were you when you told your parents?

I told my mother I was pregnant the night I found out I could be by taking 3 pregnancy tests. I told her because I didn't know what to do & I wanted to take all the precautions neccessary so that I could produce a happy & healthy baby. The sooner we tell our parents, the better so that they can at least be involved with all of the ultrasounds because that has a lot to do with coping. Seeing the little one on screen. It seems as if everyone has a hard time with telling their fathers. or the dads are the ones who take it hardest. Im glad my father wasnt around for me to tell him. he found out by hearing it from everyone else,, I have yet to speek to him though and im 36 wks. My grandfather was a hard one though. he didnt talk to me all day then he took me to eat at "Our" favorite place to eat and told me it wasnt gonna be the same no more and he started crying. I felt very miserable

A little before 20 weeks & it was akward

10-11 weeks I didn't even know until 8.

The day after I found out, I told my mama. I've always believed it's better to tell them sooner than later.

My dad found out on his own when I finally started telling people, at about 10 weeks. He called my mom and told her. I'd tell your parents before they find out from someone else because we're more mad that I didn't tell them myself then the fact that I was pregnant.

I told my mom a few days after i found out (the first time i saw her after i tested positive) so that was at about 5-6 weeks. I will be 16 weeks tomorrow and I havent told my dad yet. Im not trying to hide it but I dont really talk to him very much and I figured ill just tell him the next time i see him, whenever that is. And my boyfriend hasnt told his parents yet. He also doesnt see or talk to his dad very much at all and he just hasnt had the time or the courage to sit his mom down and tell her. Kinda crazy since were 20 and 21

with my third & fourth pregnancy i didnt tell my dad & stepmom & the rest of the family until a week after i found out i was pregnant so about 5 or 6 weeks.

i tell my mom as soon as i find out.

i was 4 weeks n 3 days when i told my mom & 5 weeks n 3 days when i told my dad

my mom had a drs appointment at the same time as me so she came in and saw the ultrasound

I told my mother the day I found out....but I still haven't told my father yet think Imma wait to bout 12 weeks

Well I was sooooo nervous but I talked to my mom today and she knew all along!!!!! Lmao she is being so supportive and said we have to make the best out the situation and is telling me all the tips I need to for pregnancy and is already talking about taking the week off during my due date lol so i have such a weight lifted off of me aand can now focus on what I need to do.

The day I found out my mom was at the doctor too so I just showed her the papers.
