Quoting Pirate Mama:“ Just curious...How much are your little ones eating? Olivia is on 4oz every 3 hours, but sometimes she acts like she is still hungry and can polish off another ounce. She seems like she eats alot!”

kaleb does the same thing! last night he ate his usual 4 oz.. and he wanted more so i made another bottle w/ 2 oz... he gobbled that down and then 30 min. later and yet another oz! i think hes going through a growth spurt...

the sometimes he'll only eat 2 oz.. then fall asleep.
i think he's just too tired to eat a full 4 oz lol.

My son is 2 weeks old today! I also want time to stop.
Is it bad if I have already stopped bleeding? I haven't had any discharge for over 48 hours. At birth he weighed 7 pounds 4 oz. At his first appointment 3 days later he was down to 6pounds 14oz one week later he was up to 8 pounds 4 ounces! The docotr triple checked his weighed. She said I must have really good milk!

Quoting Daelyn's Mommie :]:“ Daelyn eats 4oz every 3 to 4 hours. && sleeps from 10pm to 5-6am

I don't know how much Carly eats because I'm breastfeeding. But I DO know that she'll eat for about 10 minutes on each breast and stops when she gets full. She sleeps that much, too, and I am SO happy.

Kylie eats about 3-4 ozs at every feeding, and she's up every 3-4 hours. She had her two week appointment yesterday. Her birth weight was 8 lbs, 14 ozs, and she currently weighs 9 lbs, 6 ozs   I call her my little pork rind. Hahaha.

I know she's only two weeks old, but she's grown so much. I love the fact now that during the day, she has alert periods, where she's awake for 3 or 4 hours. Her daddy and I can spend time with her

Kylie is starting to get a bit more alert during the day, but thankfully, she's easier to put back to sleep at night

Brett sleeps good some nights. My biggest problem is that when I get up to feed him, I can't go back to sleep.

Emma has been getting fussy during the day too. She had her days and nights confused, but now that she's gotten them turned around she cries a lot during the day.
I do need to complain about MIL. I have been stewing all evening about her. Emma was crabby all day and couldn't get herself to fall asleep. She finally fell asleep in the car on the way to the inlaws (which I was dreading going to all day). When I got there I told them to leave her in her carseat and let her sleep or she will be miserable. Well, MIL can't handle herself and kept shaking emma's arms and legs saying, 'I want her to wake up!' I kept insisting that she let her sleep or she will cry. I knew it was killing her and suddenly she screamed, just like a little kid, 'I HAVE TO HOLD HER!' and took her out of the carseat. Well, like I promised, emma started crying and didn't stop for the whole evening. Then his mom kept insisting that she was crying because she was hungry and I told her, 'No, I fed her before I left. She is crying because you woke her up.' Well his mom went and made a bottle and fed her anyway. Well poor baby had a tummy ache and kept spewing formula all night. It was flying out of her nose and everything. And she was stillcrying. URGH I HATE THAT WOMAN!! I will never go there alone again. She has been a nightmare since emma was born.
So if she screwed up the little schedule we were getting into I will be sooo pissed!

I was looking for a March Mommy post lol...Aidan Phoenix will be 3 weeks on Wednesday. Like everyone says its going by to fast i wish time would stop. He weighed 7lbs 3 oz at birth and when we left the hospital he was 6 lbs 4 oz. At his 2 week check up back up to 8lbs. Hes eating about 4 oz every 3-4 hours i thought it was alot but i can see its pretty normal. He a really good baby sleeps most the time but will be alert for a couple hours during the day. I had a c section and im still in a lil pain nothing to unbearable, i was in and out of the hospital since i had him because my incision was draining and well it still is they said its normal!! Hopefully i wont be back. I just loveeeee my son hes the best thing thats happened to me!
