This is SOOOO not true... My daughter couldn't lift her tongue to the roof of her mouth, nor stick her tongue out past the edge of her gums. She also only gained one ounce in FOUR days because she couldn't get a deep latch because she couldn't stick her tongue out. She gained 1 lb in a week after we got it clipped.

i ment for my husband it would have been purly cosmetic i konow there are worse cases.
dh cant stick his toung past his teeth but h can lift his toung and has no problem talking

Sorry, the way it read, I felt like you meant all tongue tie clippings are cosmetic. That is simply not true. She would have been fine if she was bottle feeding. My oldest dd is also tongue tied and she is a fine healthy 7 year old. But her's wasn't as severe as my youngest dd, who was completely tongue tied.

I'm 22 years old and tongue tied and I have no speech problems or anything..
