Kylie was only a month early
born at 36 weeks, so I guess almost term
she was 6 lbs 1 oz 18 inches
she spent a week in the nicu
weighed 5 lb 12oz when she left
now at3 1/2 weeks old she is 7lbs 5

my little girl was born @ 32 weeks. Her lungs weren't fully developed, she had a murmur, then she spiked a fever and was on antibiotics. She weighed 3lbs 10ounces and was 21 inches..She was in the hospital for 6weeks..She's been home for almost 4weeks now...She's the best thing in my world...
while she was still on highflow..

my daughter weighed 4lbs 5oz. and was 17in. she was 8 weeks early, and stayed in the nicu for two weeks.

Born at 29 weeks, 4 lbs. 11 oz.
Left after 4 weeks, 5 days (34 weeks gest.)and weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz.

No GD or any other pregnancy issues. I just have big babies (and quick labors). They said if I went full term it would have definitely been a 10 pounder.

My first was 8 lbs 14 oz, my 2nd was 8 lbs. 7 oz (she was a few weeks early).
When I had my premature son, they quizzed me over and over about when my due date really was. At my 20 week u/s, I had my due date moved up 2 weeks because he kept measuring so large, but when he was born, he had complications of a younger baby, so by going by my LMP he really was 29 weeks old. He was a big baby, but it doesn't mean anything in the NICU, hewas still sick and the weight didn't help him to his advantage.

Yeah, I've seen babies actually do worse because of their size. It's harder for their little hearts to provide oxygen to their bodies and what not. Well glad he's doing well now!
