OMG! that is amazing!! congrats on such a tough little guy!!  

My twins were born at 33weeks 5days. Ashlynn weighed 4lbs and Addison weighed 3lbs 7ozs. They spent 3 weeks in NICU. Their lungs were developed so they just had to learn how to eat from a bottle and gain weight. When they were released Ashlynn weighed 4lbs 8ozs and Addison weighed 3lbs 12.5ozs. They are almost a month old and have their first regular doctor visit tomorrow. I hope they have gained more weight!

With Little D as his nurses nicknamed him. was 2 months early and 4lb. 11oz. He got down to 4lb. 9oz and 90% ventilator before surfactin. With it he took off. With in a week he was totally off ventilator and by a week and a half he took his feeding tube out. Which to my surprise is not a uncommon occurance according to his nurses. He was 9lb by 2months old. He has just turned 1 and out does all growth charts for a baby who was born full term. With miraculously no ill affects from the medicines or ventilator as well as many other things that they had to give him and do to support him till he could do it on his own,

gianna was born exactly 1 month early.
she weighed 4 lbs & 15 oz.
when she came home she was 5 lbs & 4 oz, i believe.
she was 2 weeks old when she came home!

My son was born at 36 weeks also had his intestines outside his abdomen
Weighing 4lbs 14oz
Was in the ICN for 29 days
The day he left he was 6lbs 4oz, 40 weeks gestation

Daughter was born 27 weeks and 5 days. Weighting in at 2 pounds 3 ounces and 14.5 inches long. Came home after 61 grueling days in the NICU at 5 pounds and 3 ounces. She just turned a year on easter sunday and weights 23 pounds and is over 29 inches long.

This pregnancy is going good so far. I had severe pre-e with AJ , but I dont have anything like that this time. I am on bp meds though, taking baby asprin, and lovenox shots twice a day. It's worth it though, my bp hasn't been high once on the meds. At this exact time I was in the hospital last year. I was in the hospital starting at 18 weeks - 24 until I had him. I am so glad to hear all of your little ones are doing so well.

I was 32 weeks.
My daughter was 3lbs 5.6 oz, 21 inches
Born on 6/28/07 and was released 7/23/07

Paige was born at 27 weeks, 5 days gestation, weighing 2 pounds, 1 ounce and was 14.5 inches long.

She was in the NICU for 60 days and was discharged on her 2 month birthday (the equivilent of 36 weeks, 2 days gestation). At that time she weighed 5 pounds even and was 17 inches long. She has been home almost 3 weeks now and we are loving it! Good luck to all you preemie parents still waiting to take your little ones home.

My daughter Summer was born at 31 weeks gestation. She was 4lbs 6oz and 17 3/4" long. She was in the NICU for almost 2 months and she was almost 6lbs when we got to bring her home!

Nathanial was born at 32 weeks, He weight 3lb 7 oz, He was in the hospital for 33 days. He weight 5lb 3 oz when he came home.

Now he is over 17 lb and growing like a weed. He is 7 months 3 weeks old.

i was 32.1 weeks...he weighed 4lbs. 1 oz. he was in the hospital for a month but was suppose to stay longer but since he was gaining weight and doing good so they let him out early. he weighed 5lbs. 13oz when he left.

NOw he weighs 7lbs. 12oz. && is 1 month && 15 days.

born 3/18/08 left NICU 4/12/08 born at 4lb 12oz left at 5lb 13 oz and now weighs as of today 6lb 3oz
