re: November Mama's? :o)

Hope everyone gets to feeling better. With my first, I didn't "show" until I was around 6 or 7 mo. (at the time I was a little heavier to begin with) Of course I started buying (and wearing at home) maternity clothes. It's your right, so use it!! I was coming off of 6 yrs of fertility treatments, I did lose weight at first. I only gained 11 lbs and Landon was 7 lbs 10 oz. This is not normal - but I think coming off ofall the meds had something to dowith it. My dr.just stresses to listen to your body -if you're hungry - get a snack, if you're tired - rest. He also stress to stay hydrated.

I'm eating the weirdest things right now (I eat what I can, when I can). I don't have morning sickness any more, just nothing seems appealing and I always feel full.

So I listen to my body- I drink "good" fluids (juice, vitamin water, etc) and I eat a lot of yogurts and cheeses and raw fruits and veg.

I'm a bit worried because I've lost a bit of weight (not much- maye 3-5 lbs?) but I'm doing my absolute best to eat rounded, healthy meals and I drink tons to stay hydrated. So hopefully this listening to your body thing is the right thing to do!

Im not eating weird things yet and not craving anything weird but we went to Sweet Tomatoes last night for dinner and I filled my plate with 3 different salads, a ceaser, a plain one with ranch, hard boiled eggs and croutons and some pasta salad, I only ate the plain one because theothers didnt look good from the time I walked from the buffet to the table.Im also getting full really easily sometimes I'll be hungry a little while after other times Im full for hours. Its frustrating.

Yesterday I nearly fainted while visiting my boyfriend at work. I was extremly scared so we went to the er. everything is okay. They monitored my Blood pressure and the babys heartbeat for about an hour. Turns out I was really dehydrated since I was sick tues and wed with some sort of flu thing and didn't keep anything down for 24 hrs. Then I didn't drink enough water the next day. Then yesterday it was our first really warm day and my first day out from being sick and it hit hard. Everythings fine though Thank goodness

We are singing the same tune. I felt like I was reading one of my posts.

I'm so hungry and then when I find something I want to eat, I only eat half and then i'm too full or lost my appetite and then 20 min later i'm starvign again but I dont want what I just ate and like you, sometimes i'm full for hours! IT IS so frustrating!
Wed and thurs I was sick with the flu and could not eat anything and everytime I got up I would almost faint. i'm still sick but a lot better but i'm trying to drink tons of water but I was really nervous for baby but the dr said everything was okay and baby was fine. I had DH work from home so he could help me since I was so weak and scared I would pass out with no one around...I feel ya!!

Tis the season to be pregnant....my sister is also 2 weeks behind me. Crazy. At least we both have someone close that we can complain to  

Hi ladies!!! I think I have posted in this thread once before, but my brain isn't all there, lol. Anyways I'm feeling wonderful and have had an awesome week. My husband got hired with the fire department, we found out we're having a little girl and my MIL does not have breast cancer, yay 

By the way I wish my sister was pregos. I feel bad because my mom always nags her because she is getting old. She will be fine, but what can I do it doesn't help that we are nine years apart and I'm the baby who has done everything first. Anyways I hope everyone is doing well and welcome to any new moms and mommies to be. I guess I'm still lucky because I have four friends who are pregos along with me so I'm not alone. Oh and I have all of you!

Anybody out there due on November 1st by the way? Maybe I'll end up having a Halloween baby, that would be fun.

ok, so i have not posted in a bit. But everything is going good after the surgery. It has been almost two wks since the stitch was put in, and that i have been on strict bed rest. It is hard, really hard. lol, but this little one better appreciate what I am giving up. Anyway, I know this time everything will be good. I did cheat a little bit yesturday. But I was sooooo nervous the whole time. It was so nice out and i have not seen fresh air in forever, that i took a walk onto my deck and layed down (flat) on the lounger . It was so nice to feel the sun.   But i only stayed out for about half hour because i was so scared that i should be in bed, i have to call the dr tomorrow and ask him if i could go out on deck as long as i am laying down and not going on any stairs.
How is everyone else doing?

I'm due november first too :-) It's funny to read all of these posts that are a few weeks behind, All i gotta say is the next few weeks made a huge difference for me.. I was a bigger girl to begin with but throughout the first few months i lost 25 lbs... Mainly because i had morning sickness and I just couldnt eat for some reason.. I would make food and then by the time i was done with it and ready to eat it looked gross... but now I eat like a hog! it was like one morning someone flipped a switch and now i'm hungry alot.. It's weird how in just a couple weeks things can change soo much

Hey! How is everyone feeling? I'm in the same situation as some of the other ladies I'm starving and then when I go to eat not hungry anymore. I hope everyone has a good week!!   

Dazzle- are you allowed outside? It would be terrible if you couldn't walk out to the porch. You should rent a wheelchair if you can't, and have hubby roll you onto the deck, lol.

My starving, getting food, and then instantly being full phase has passed. I'm not super-hungry, but I'm at least eating like normal again! I can eat almot all of my favorite foods, my cravings for fruit have decreased (kinda sad about that- they still look appealing, just not AS appealing!), but I'm still a tiny bit off on meat in general. I think that's just in my head though.

Curly B- awesome news on your family! Job, girl, and no cancer! Such a relief with the cancer. On of my good friends' moms (good lord, where do the apostrophes in that sentence go???) survived breast cancer last year, but it's back now in her liver and kidneys so their whole family is just devastated.

I eat...but NOTHING really is appealing to me lately, not even my absolute favorite foods. <sigh> This is why I hate meal planning for DH and DS, they're no help with telling me what they want to eat (but to be fair, DS isn't even 3 yet!)

Well, I need to get myself dressed and presentable. DS is whining to leave the house and I do need to do a Target run to get some superglue to fix one of his toys I've been promising him I'd fix for two weeks now!

I asked the nurse practitioner if i could go out on the deck and she said as long as i go and lay down out there and straight there and then when I am ready straight back. Yes, not being out is Horrible! especially since I love the summer (all though the weather has not beeen amazing, it has had some good days though) I thought about the wheel chair thing, but I don't want to jinx anything for future, anyway stupid superstiion, lol. Anywhere outside of the house i am really only allowed out to go to the dr's office. But in the end it is all worth it because next summer I will have a wonderful little bundle to take with me to the BBQ's lol. It is only 5 1/2 months of my life, but the rest of my child's life.  
I am always hungry! But i only eat little portions at a time, so I have only gained 5 lbs this time. So that to me is a wonderful accomplishment in its own. Especailly since I am always so hungry, but again i am the same once i start eating i get so full. There was also the time that whatever I ate came up anyway. But that has been gone and that is great also.  

Well, at least you cna get out in the sunshine (when there is sunshine, that is... damn rain!) I'm sure the change of scenery from inside to outside is a huge mood booster as well. Now all you need is for your hubby to bring you tasty summer-foods (like popsicles!) and you'll be all set.

You definitely have a good outlook on this bedrest thing, which is excellent. If you were already depressed about it, it'd be a tough go from here on, lol. I'm glad you're doing so well. Hurry up 5 1/2 months! Hurry up!

Thank you, i am trying, and i know it is for a greater reason. Now ask me again in three months i may be crawling out of my skin. LOl. but no, i am on here, i play games, i watch tv, i talk on the phone, i pay bills, i read ALOT, lol. I try to do different things.
Yeah can't wait for this damn rain to go away! It is almost June, what is going on?!? lol. Summer food are great! ANd Richard is good at grilling so even though I can't go to the family BBQ's now, he can grill at the house so it will be kool. Maybe we could have our own BBQ, in bed. LOL.
