I was on birth control pills for SO long before my pregnancy that my body was still fairly screwed up when I got pregnant. OPKs didn't work for me then, but we got lucky anyway. I had my D&C on the 8th of April, when was yours?
The only reason I know I was ovulating is the fact that I called my doctor because I was having side pains in my right side and I was hoping the endometriosis hadn't spread to that side so I asked him about it and they called me back and said it was most likely ovulation pains. I've been having weird cramps lately and I think they may be implantation cramps because I've never, in my entire life, had cramps with AF. Weird.

yeah i was on BC from the time i was 16 until i got married this past sept...i'm now 24 so i'm suprised it didn't take that long for me to get pregnant even though i know they say it could take a year it almost never does.
my D & C was on the 14th of april...how far along were you if you don't mind me asking?
i know i ovulated b/c i've been charting and checking my CM which was egg white for about 2 days which means most fertile time :-)

I got preggo the first month we actually "tried" too! I was 6 weeks, 5 days when we lost our little one. I started to miscarry on the 4th, but ended up at the ER on the 5th and when I followed up with my doctor on the 7th, he scheduled me for an emergency D&C and laparoscopy. Fun stuff!
I remember getting the pre-fertile CM (feeling wet all the time) and freaking out because I thought I was already pregnant again! I had the same symptoms when I was pregnant the first time and I was so worried that if/when I got pregnant again, it would have the same ending.

Stay positive I didn't have to get a D&C or lap, I miscarried at home on my own. I am sure the surgery just added to you already feeling miserable.

Oh trust me, it sucked majorly, but I'm thankful it wasn't dragged out.
I'm testing Sunday (if I can wait that long) and I will definitely let you know!

That's good news. I know surgeries aren't easy..I have had enough myself. This was my first m/c though. I am really sad this week about it..keep think about the what ifs...I am pretty sure its my hormones.. I am stayin positive though..at least I am trying to.

It was my first miscarriage too and let me tell you, I didn't take to it very well. I spent a good two to three days just crying and hating everyone and wanting to be alone. It was so crappy. I seriously felt like the world was out to get me and that no one understood me or what I was going through. As if that weren't bad enough, I had to have surgery and then find out I have endometriosis. Let's just say that week was bad for me. I'm sorry for your loss, hun. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here!
I'm 10 DPO or CD24 of 28, assuming my cycles return to normal. I haven't had a period since my miscarriage so I'm not really sure what to expect. Never had cramps with AF though so I'm hoping the cramps I felt a few days ago were implantation cramps and not period cramps!

yeah i got pregnant in march and i stopped taking BC in september. i thought i was 10 weeks, but the baby stopped at 7 1/2 weeks. i just started bleeding and called the dr had me come in and see him, send me for an u/s. thats when i knew we had lost our baby. he saw me the next day and scheduled a d & c the monday morning.
i'm so afraid that it will happen again but i have an awesome dr and he wants me to contact him the moment i THINK i'm pregnant...i'm just afraid i'm gonna think i'm pregnant b/c i wanna be. aren't there tests you can take up to a few days before a missed period or something?

Oh I totally understand that! My doctor has been great through everything! He showed me pics from my laparoscopy and pics of my cervical cancer and has been super supportive. He told me to call the second I get a positive HPT and demand (his exact word) blood tests. I'm taking a test on Sunday (First Response) and that'll be 2 days before I expect to get my period and that's as early as I want to test just in case I test too early. I've never had a positive HPT...

Sounds like your experiences are similar to mine. I had cervical cancer at 19, endo & ovarian cysts at 22. I have ischemic colitis now too..but they are debating whether its that or endo in my intestines. I still have cysts on my right ovary too..blah.
You will def be a high risk pregnancy like I was.

my doctor actually delivered my brother and I lol shows how long he's been around. it was be awesome if he could deliver my mom's grandchild for her too :-)
how did you find out you were pregnant last time if you didn't take a HPT? I wanna find out as soon as i can with a HPT but i know the soonest you really can is maybe 2 or 3 days. i used the digital one b/c i think the 1 or 2 lines would be hard to read alon with the + and -.

I had HPV at 16, cervical cancer at 18 and endo a month before I turn 19. Don't you love our lives? My left ovary and fallopian tube were totally screwed! I saw pics and they were just nasty. It looked like a moth ate half my tissues and the other half had nasty blisters and blood everywhere. Talk about a strange experience!
I was thinking about that last night. I'm going to have enough problems with just my cervix, let's add high risk in there and I guarantee I'll be on bed rest for a decent chunk of my pregnancy. Fantastic! There goes my nannying job this summer/fall.

I want to have a baby before my great grandmother dies. I think it'd be sweet to have 5 generations together.
I was a week late and I went to the doc for a blood test. It was positive! I suggest the // kind, not the +/- kind. They're usually more accurate and you can tell earlier than some other tests. I'm testing 2 days beforehand and I'm afraid to get a BFN. Good luck though! Let me know how it goes.

LOL. i feel you on that, I've been waiting to m/c naturally and it's finally happening. I can't wait untill AF shows up for real so we can get it seriously on, lol.
