lost wic checks

before i go into any detail those of you who want to be little me can go ahead and not read this post ....ok so last week i used the wics checks to get the last 2 cans of formula and cereal ...well when i went to look for them yesterday i couldnt find them mind u these are the new ones that start next week ... so now im looking on craigslist because i know alot of people in the city sell theur cases for whatever reason ...but i was wondering have any of u ladies lost checks and had them replaced i mean its not like i cant buy the formula myself but being on umemployment and trying to move things are a little tight around here now

All you have to do is call your WIC office and tell them you lost your checks. They should just replace them.

I was told at my last WIC appt. they can't replace them if they were lost or stolen.

i did call and they said they couldnt replace them but they needed me to come in so they can void them out ...so im going to them on wednesday

I lost mine and they told me there is no way I can replace them. She pretty much told me I was SOL.

sad part is i think i threw them out in the garbage because last i remember they were in the bag from the supermarket

Thats what I heard...it's like losing cash money...they are as good as gone.

I don't think they replace them because they think you're selling them to ppl. But it couldn't hurt to call and double check.

From what I remember when I first signed up for WIC was that if you lose them the don't replace them, but it won''t hurt to call

I've only lost milk ones so it's not a big deal. Good luck I know how valuable the formula ones are.

I don't get it? Your post is confusing. I can't tell if you're saying you used them but now need more and went "looking for the 'lost' checks" that you actually used.. and you want to convince WIC you lost them so you can get more? Is that it?

i lost the ones that start next week ....last time i had them was when i went to the supermarket ...they were in the pink thing which also had my coupons for free similac ....i lost the whole damn folder wic id included

Ahh, gotchya! I wouldjust go to the WIC office and let them know you lost it. They should replace it for you.

Also, they say that "can't" do that but they can.

They once messed up my checks and at first were like "Oh, well, we can't do anything about our mess up..."

But really, they can print more for you and should.
