It feels good to get out on your own. Congrats on your own place! It sucks your going through a hard time right now. I wish I could give you advise on the sleeping thing but for some reason I can't sleep either. I really hope you can find a beautiful way to celebrate your daughters birth. I hope everything works out EXACTLY the way you want it too.

At least you aren't cancelling Jewell's birthday plans. Does she watch the kids at all while she visits? Maybe you could have a little time for yourself and go shopping or go on a date with your husband or both. My fave thing about living close to my mil is that she babysits for free.

No she doesn't really like little kids, they are too loud for her liking. I also don't trust her to feed them properly. She has an eating disorder and doesn't believe in eating after 2pm and all that craziness. She's 5'4 and MAYBE weighs 90lbs. But Tims sister is coming too and I know she'll watch them(and feed them) properly so Tim and I can have a date. It's been about a year since we've had one!

She's totally wacky. The last time she was here she would "tsk" us when we ate after 2.   She also won't eat off of my dishes because they were made in China and she thinks they are trying to poisen us.

Wow, she does sound crazy. My mil drives me nuts and then I hear stories of these kinds of mil's and I think I have it pretty good. At least his sister will watch them for you, it sounds like you two really need to go out. If I am remembering right, Jewell doesn't go to bed until like 10??(I might be remembering someone else saying that though)but if it was you that said it you REALLY need to get out!

Yup that was me and here lately she stays up even later. It's insane, I put her to bed and then for another hour of so it's "I have to pee" or "I'm thristy" and the newest one is "I'm scared". I don't know how to get her back to her normal sleep schedual because I don't know why she is staying up so late in the first place. The other night we all went to bed early around 9ish, I woke up about 11:30 and she was playing with her toys. It's frusturating!

ugh to your mil, she sounds like a pain in the ass! leave kids with sil and go out! Then tell mil, she has to keep her mouth closed at the b-day party!!
tell her you got paper plates for HER to use!! HEHE!!

MMM, Beer IS good!! I love a Bud light, Bass, Or a Amberbock. SOmetimes ill drink a Hienkien (SP?) but yeah, Beer is good!
