I agree that everyone and their mother thinks they can be a photographer. But why try to cut her down? I mean honestly for all you know she's been an apprentice for x amount of years and been doing it on the side for x amount of years.

First, you are entitled to your own opinion. Second, your opinion just happens to be an ignorant opinion. And Third while you are so quick to jump to the "I'm tired of seeing hobby photographers think that they can start up a business just because someone says that they are a good photographer" Every photographer Ansel Adams, Richard Avedon, Brian Duffy and many many more ALL started off as "hobby photographers" We all start somewhere. No one just picks up a camera and decides that they are going to do something with it. The people who truly have the creative eye and gift are the ones that love what they do and take pride in it AND most of them decide that this is what they want to do for the rest of their life so they make a living off of it. Ignorance is saying that you are tired of seeing such a thing in my eye, but my ignorance to you is that you may or may not have the ability to go as far as you want so you choose to bash those who can.

On another note, something catchy for your business could be anything. Your nieces idea about Tangled Memories seems fitting, especially with all of this worlds chaos. I chose to go with Ahah Photography. (I have 4 children and their first initals are Ahah; Adam, Hope, Audrey, Holly)

Haha I totally just realized this was a year old!!! I just saw it on the first page from The Photo Spot! Lol. I didn't realize it said Jan '12 till after I commented. Lmfao.

I can't think or decide on a "catchy" name for my photography, so I decided just to use my full name. I guess I wont be able to be creative with my art.
