Chronic Consistent Bacterial Vaginosis while pregnant!

Since I have been pregnant, I have posted probally 10 or more times on this topic...I just dont have anyone else to talk to it about and I have scoured the internet for countless hours trying to find something (anything). I feel like a dirty freak...I have a vagina that smells like a dead fish, and has smelled this way since about a wk before I found out that I am pregnant....I have Bacterial Vaginosis and it has been consistent (no break) and I am 30w 2d pregnant...it is ruining my life, I am always in a bad mood and depressed and I cant have sex with my husband cause it hurts and I smell horrible...I have read stories of women having bv for years and that scares me! I have had antibiotics about 6 times for it and nada! The dr. says it will probally go away after the bay is born but I am not sure I am convinced....I just wanna cry! Has anyone had chronic bv while pregnant and it went away afterwards...I mean nothing I do gets rid of it! How long did it take for it to go away after giving birth?

Has the doctor given you anything for it?

Yeah just saw that.

I had it one time during my first pregnancy and my doc gave me some kind of cream similar to a yeast infection medicine that took care of it...I don't know what it was called, but it took care of it in like a day.

I have UTI's my entire pregnancies and I totally understand. It is miserable. My vagina seriously HURTS and nothing helps. It totally affects my mood and is seriously unbelievably painful. It goes away the SECOND I deliver and the only upside is my vagina actually feels great after I deliver rather than hurting since I'm so used to it hurting!

Awe. Sometimes antibiotics can tend to make things worse. I know probiotics can work to get things back on track but you have to stick with it.

When you are being treated do you avoid sex until your doctor clears you? Your hubby probably needs to be treated

Im telling ya I am hopeless, I have been on probiotics for 3 months and nothing works!

We have had sex maybe 3-4 times in the past 3 or 4 months and he doesnt go inside of me, we actually use condoms

It is normal. I got my first YI in my life during pregnancy. Don't beat yourself up about it.
