When did your baby first speak?

Around what month did your child start to say small words? Like mama and dada?

My first was a big talker. She started with Dada at about 6 mos. I don't remember if she knew the meaning yet but my 9 months she knew something like 30 or more words.

In the right context, around 15 months? He wasn't interested in speaking much, he communicated with signing though.

started saying mama, dada, and ball at 6 months! didnt say another word until last month (he is now 17 months) literally got tubes in his ears and BAM! kid is walking around telling me all kinds of stuff! He can say 40+ words, and several sentences (its right there, i am hungry, thank you, i love you, etc) And he can sign more, thank you, dog, cat.......YES I AM BRAGGING i didnt think he was going to talk

Like 9 months.
Now at 21 months, he's almost talking in full sentences.

My son says mama. I don't think he associated it with anything yet haha but I love hearing him say it. SO and I are waiting for him to say dada. I want him to say it really bad!
