I was very good friends with a woman who felt that she had to leave the country with her 1 and 3 yo to be with her family b/c of an abusive, controlling marriage. She has gone through an incredible amount over the past 3 yrs, but she finally won her international case and the children don't have to return to the USA to be with their father who cares much more about his ego than anything or anyone else. Just wanted to post this as a sign to someone who needs it that lives can begin again even in the darkest of times and situations.

ive been tryign to come with therms he is still mentally abusive to me even after i told him a few weeks ago how it made me feel. he was real sweet for a while and now his attitude and blaming me for smurf is back. i cant live life like this forever but its so fkn hard for me to leave.
we had sex after the talk with him but now its been anohter week or 2 since we had sex. i am so turned off when he treats me bad or blames me for smurf. he knows when im mad or upset i dont have sex.

Where do I start 3years of mental and physical abuse he put me threw so much last month he socked me on my face and I got to the point where enough is enough, I have a freaking bald spot from when he pulled my hair out while hitting me. Id rather be a single parent than my daughter have to grow up witnessing that. Currently single doing everything on my own came to realize he never gave a damn about me..

you did the right thing hun i am so proud of you on your own taking care of your LO! your so strong to get up and leave. a lot of woman stay when they are being abused from mental to physical.
Keep your head up and stay strong!! i prob work somewhat near you.
