Just did alot of extensive reading on Borderline Personality Disorder and now realize my ex fits almost all the criteria. Creepy stuff....


Since leaving him, he's still contacting me off/on and no matter how blunt I am with him, he still keeps telling me "well, I think you just need more time to yourself. I'll check back with you in a few weeks."  

I don't want to have to change my number over this idiot and I've also blocked all the numbers he has called from, but he'll just keep calling from different ones  

Would it be over-the-top and dramatic to get a TRO?

What is a TRO?

I changed my phone number because of my ex, but barely anyone calls me other than my parents.

Would you be able to get a TRO just because of phone calls? That isn't enough in this country.

That I'm not sure.. I don't even know if it would count as harassment being that he strategically waits several days before calling me again. Thankfully he hasn't showed up at my house... not yet,

When that happens, then yes, call the cops and file for harassment and a TRO. Don't open the door or let him in.

Oh I most definitely won't. I also got a pitbull that'll attack his sorry ass if he tries anything funny.

I've been in an abusive relationship, with my unborn baby's father. I just dont know how somebody that you love, thought you loved you, can just attack you, and humiliate you. What i dont get is, he is the one more excited about the baby, wants to go buy baby furniture, is picking out names, then goes and says he wishes me and the baby would die, and that he hates us.. not to mention punches me in the stomache (the baby's ok, i went to the hospital) i did call authorities, but they were no help, because i couldn't Prove that he did it.. I left him for the sake of me and my baby.. its just so hard to move on, i mean how can your bestfriend do that to you?

I'm sorry to say hunny, but your best friend wouldn't do that to you. He was not and is not your best friend if he treats you like that. I'm glad you were able to leave him. Moving on will come easier with time, I promise. I'm glad you and the baby are ok. Hospital records should be proof enough for police that he punched you. I would start with that. By leaving him you did the best thing you could have done for you and your baby. Stay strong!

Relationships can be healthy, unhealthy, abusive or somewhere in between. Abusive relationships can not last longer. You can not take it easy everything.

I was reading through the list in the OP and several of the behaviors popped out to me, and a few of the things a few ladies have said in here, my SO acts like that...
