OFF topic "Period"

Ok ladies I know this is question doesn't have to do with our little ones but......how long after you had your baby did you have your period again???? It's been about about 7 weeks since I had my son and still nothing.

I heard it takes months sometimes and i even heard a year

its been almost 9 weeks for me an still nothing...
my doc said it could take a lonnnnng while

Are you breastfeeding at all? That can prolong it. I just had my first period at the end of March, my son was born in december.

I think mine was almost a year. I was breastfeeding 100%, though.

it just depends really, all of mine have been different. After my first I quit bleeding from having her and 2 days later started my period, my second I didnt have one after because they put me on depo before I left the hospital, this last one I was around 7-8 weeks pp before I had one, my second one was 3 days later than it was suppose to be and just started yesterday, I should have started either monday or tuesday according to what my body use to be like. I guess my hormones are still regulating themselves out in there. And boy did I have hot flashes like crazyyesterday! I knew somebody who was breastfeeding and it was like a year and a half before she had one after having the baby. It differs.

I am breastfeeding but he gets mostly formula because I don't make much. I really only BF so that he can go to sleep LOL he only sucks for about 10 min on both sides and I'm dry. : )
