We have Morgans SSI Card..we got that when she was about 3 weeks old..but we don't have her birth certificate..Is it supposed to take this long to get it?

In Florida they don't send you a birth certificate you have to pay for it either online or in person. We picked ours up at the office

you have to pick it up at the town office in the town you resided in when she was born

I'm not sure about there but here you can get the original free but all other copies you have to pay for

Apparently here they mail it to you, A friend who had her kids here said it takes forever for you to get it. I was so worried that no one told me and I didn't pick it up lol. I know here copies you pay for but the original is free, same in Jersey.
