EEEK! Avoid the nipple shield at ALL costs. Use it only as a last resort. That thing is evil  . It caused nipple confusion in LO and has caused me TONS of pain. Doctors and LC thought I had a yeast infection in both breasts but it turned out to be the nipple shield causing all the pain and cracking/peeling. I HATE that thing. LO also has a strong suck so that has some to do with it. Ouch!

Woah. Your son looks similar to mine. I swear many babies have "typical" newborn faces. I see LOs face everywhere. haha. Let me see if I can get a photo posted.

So I'm not sure if everyone is aware but Olan mills does free newborn portraits! You only get one pose free but of you like the other photos you can buy the packages they have available

Not for me, If it wasnt for the nipple shield I would be EBF today, It took two days of using it for Brooklynn to figure out how to latch and not need it. It never has caused me any problems or pain what so ever.

Going back to work next week so im hammering out all my deep cleaning and making a bunch of meals to freeze for when i dont have time or want to cook so ive been bouncing in and out of here. I hope all you mamas and babies are doing well!!

me too   he has started drinking bad again.. which has a lot to do with his anger problems.

it makes me sad cause I love him when he isnt a drunk and goes through his sober moments, things are perfect then.
