re: LEAKING!!!!

Itjust gets worse...mine have been leaking since I was about 20weeks, and I've had my nipples pierced in the past.. Yes, it still leaks out of where the piercings once were.

I thought my fiance was going to die laughing the first time he walked in on me sprawled on the bed like that, but like I said before, it's definitely worth it. I would rather look a little silly than be in a lot of pain, I think. I will absolutely swear by the tea bags for the rest of my life. The lanolin is good for when you absolutely have to have on the bra/pads.

isnt it gross.. i was like... this is attractive... ewww... i couldnt not pick at it! But the second i did my body get mad and SHOT ME... i was caught off gaurd there...
I started scrubbing them in the shower too today to help prepare for the breast feeding!!! AAAAHHH its gna hurt!

Yes when I first saw the crust I was did not know what was going with my boobs.I washed it off when I got in the shower and then the milk just oozed out a little. Once I realized what it was I got all right. Hope I don't get shot in the eye....or my husband either. Lol.

hahah, I've been waiting for a topic like this to start. I'm there too girly. I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and have been going through this for a few weeks now...only my boobies have been extremely sore to the touch since I found out I was pregnant. Let's put it this way, I have Jenn time where I am allowed to moan and complain about how sore they are and walk around with no bra or shirt, just a light blanket. And it's been a rule for quite some time that they do not get touched...EVER! LOL
I think I ake hot baths about everyday..sometimes twice a day...so ease away all of my aches and pains...sore leaky boobies being on of them.

WOW!!! ya i will feel like i want to walk around with no bra, but i just dont have the gumption to do so! haha. So i will wear a bathing suit! lol. But today i was walking around the store and got this like biting pain in my right nipple and it stung soooo bad i grabbed my breast and just held it andpushed on it!!! haha im sure people were like... WOOOAH PERVE hah. But i couldnt NOT react! it hurt!!! omg!
I dont have severe tenderness anywhere other than my nipple though! Man im sorry you have already been going through it for a while! EEK

haha yeah, it's not fun..and from what I hear from my sister whose had 3 kids now, it only gets worse. She tried to breastfeed with the last baby, and she told me I should start cutting my nipples with razor blades cuz that's what it feels like.....haha, yeah, like that's not gunna scare the crap outta me!

OMG thats horrible!!!!! from what i understand it only hurts at first cause it has to get calused... but i have already started scrubbing mine to toughen them up!!! thats horrible to say though! ahhh i know they some woman tear and bleed and crack but usually only at first... or so i hear.

I know! She about putme in tears!! She was bleeding and cracking..she tried for 2 days and was just in tears everytime she tried to feed so she switched to bottles. I'm determined to give it my all....cheaper, easier and convienient so I'm trying my best...lol

Oh I had to jump in, I kno its late but this is exactly why I couldnt breastfeed after 2 weeks! Man Arieanna tore my nipples up so bad they were worse then just chapped and bleeding...man they were horrible! I cried everytime I fed her and it broke my heart when my doctor made me stop at 2 weeks...they said its good that she got that much tho because she got the antibodies and what not. Anyways, START PREPARING ur nipples now...exactly like you said! Mine was a combo of tender nipples but also the fact that Arieanna was not latching on right..it was bad! Anyways, in the end I actually had a clog milkduct that had to be opened and released...ugh! Next time im so preparing...I wanted nothing more then to brestfeed! Good luck girls! Oh and another thing...dont put lotion or anything on ur nipples to prep. Im sure ur nurses would have some info on how to prep as well..take care!
