Hubby Vent

posted 3rd Apr
So, my left bottom wisdom tooth has really been bothering. My right bottom one is in as well, but not as much trouble. I go to the dentist today, they say I need all 4 taken out ASAP (the 2 on top are not even thru yet) So now I'm thinking of only gettin the bottoms out. Well, Hubby is having a cow. He's like "there's always something new wrong with you" (in december, I went for ultrasounds for ovarian cysts) we had 1200 in bills between Hunter & I. Well, we finally paid a good $900 of that. Anyways. . . He's all bitching because I want to get healthy? The dentist says I have infection in my left one.. and definitely need that out, the same will happen to the right if I don't hurry. To me, I feel like money is not problem when it comes to health ANYONES HEALTH. Hubby says he needs things done, but he's not doing that. I'm just like great, that's you. I want to live to see my son.. I don't need some stupid mouth infection killing me (which can happen) . URRG I am so pissed at him. Yesterday, it was non-stop fighting. All he does it nit-pick.. like finds the stupidest things to bother me with.. follows me around, acts like a damn child. I swear, I almost punched him in his face it's so bad. He knows I have anger issues, and he knows when I'm mad/sad etc.. to LEAVE ME ALONE. He' s just like well, how much is this going to cost, does it have to happen right now, why do I have to be the one to take you (on monday) and I'm just like YOU ARE MY HUSBAND. I didnt know it was going to be so inconvientant for you!

Wow....I am so sorry you have to deal with that. But good for you on sticking up for yourself and your health. At least you are teaching your son good hygeine by wanting to deal with it and not letting it go for money reasons. I know that medical and dental bills can basically send you out searching for loans if they add up but in the end it is worth it. Hang in there and keep doing what you know is best.

Gosh..Men try to save money in some of the most RIDICULOUS ways! U def. need that taken care of. My uncle has a bad infection n his mouth where his teeth are breaking off n the dentist told him if he didn't tget them removed it could cause the infection to spred to his heart n other organs...Money shouldn't be an issue when it comes to someones well being..

you are right that a tooth infection can kill you if it goes untreated. That was what killed my grandfather last year. Of course he did have other health problems which made treating the infection harder once he did go get it treated but infections in general are not something to take lightly (though being young and healthy it's less likely to be a problem but it still has the possiblity of getting really bad) Is there a way you can get a payment plan on getting your teeth done and just get the ones that are currently a problem fixed?

Yeah. I plan on just getting the bottom 2 out. We have insurance. Insurance told me yesterday they cover 85% of the procedure and I cover %15.
