Serious Religious Topic

OK. So we all know I'm not religious.

My husband's best friend is entering the seminary. My husband would like to buy him a gift...but being non-religious folk...we don't know what to get him.

Nothing disrespectful...no joke gifts...like for real.

He's catholic.

So..what do you get a guy who wants to enter seminary school?
He wants to be a priest....

So...like what? A rosary? A book on seminary school? Robes?

I really have no idea.

Maybe a book on seminary school. Or a engraved or embrodired new Catholic bible. I am sorry I am not Catholic so I am no help but really think it is cool that you two are supporting him even though you are not religious yourselves

I have NO clue, maybe get him some nice collared shirts or some nice pants to wear under his robes.

I would rather he not become an ultra religious freakazoid....but...he's been through a smurf ton in the past several years...and if this is what makes him happy...then it's what makes him happy.


also...that first line is a joke. He's actually pretty cool and non preachy about it.

I would get him a cross necklace and put it inside of a personalized bible that has his name and the date he started seminary school on it.
