Working up until your due date?

I am 35 weeks and was wondering if any of you ladies worked or are working right up until your due date? I originally wanted to cut out early from working a week before my due date to give me a little buffer but it seems like my employer is going to give me a hard time about that. I am just really nervous I don't want to go into labor at work I'd probably have a panic attack!

I am due mid April and I do income taxes so I am hoping to work right up until going into labour because we will be super busy and I want to get all the hours I can for maternity leave. I am nervous about working until that time but I figure if worse comes to worse one of my co worker will have to drive me the 45 minute drive to the hospital

I am having a c-section on Monday, January 16th, and I plan to work until either the Friday or Saturday before that. I worked right up until before I had all of my kids, except for my daughter, who was born 13 weeks early.

I waitressed until 3 days before delivering. Exactly 40 wks :-)

I worked until I went into labor at 37.4 weeks.

With my first I worked until I had her.
I would've worked the day she came but I woke up in labor about an hour before my alarm was supposed to go off.

With my first child I didn't... I was in the military and they let me stop working about 4 weeks before I had her. My second child I worked up to the day before I had him. With my third I worked up to about a week before I was due.

I am 38 weeks 2 days as of today and still working full time 8 hrs per day ....
and planning to work till Dec 23rd - being Friday since from Dec 24th - Dec 27th - we have holdiays here and my due date is Dec 27th - Tuesday.

will get back to work again on Dec 28th- Wednesday, if nothing happens before..........

i am 37 weeks and 3 days and im still working 6 days a week waiting tables at Applebees. I am due on January 1st and I am on the schedule until the 27th right now.. but i plan on picking up shifts and working until my LO is here  

Yes I did. My water broke at work I was 38 weeks

When I was pregnant with my son, I worked up until he was born. I started going into labor at 2am on his due date, lol. I'm fixing to have a baby girl within the next 2 or 3 weeks, I requested maternity leave to start on the 25th of this month.. But honestly I'm not sure when she'll decide to be here.. She's already weighing heavier & looks to be a week ahead.. hah.

Yep, I did daycare with 3's with my first until I had him and 3's and 4's with my last. Let me tell you I was exhausted by the end of the day!

Im working pretty much up until my due date (jan 7th) but I work fridays and saturdays, so my due date is on a sat lol so its probably up until the 31st of dec. no shame in working up until labor, the more active YOU are the easier labor will be  

Im a cosmetologist and with my 1st baby i worked up until the day befor i was induced at 42 weeks and will more than likely do it again with this baby  

I worked on my daughter's due date and was induced 2 days later.
