Why do you put up with it?

Okay. I have had my fill of reading the 'my boyfriend is so horrible' posts! Ladies/Young Ladies- WHY??? I can not fathom why you guys are still with these guys if they are so horrible?? Were they this way before you got pregnant? IF so, then what did you expect to happen when one of the most stressful things any couple can go through would happen. (And don't give me the 'it was an accident'- when you play with fire you're going to get burned!!) If they warped into this guy all of a sudden, what makes you think it's healthy for you and baby to continue in this relationship? I realize everyone wants their child's father to be in their kids life- and that's great, encourage that! But why not just get out of the relationship and deal with them as friends? Everyone is entitled to a bad day and a temper tantrum every now and then, but I don't see how day in and day out you can post about your woes and do nothing about them! You let these guys treat you this way! STOP!! Please, realize that you are beautiful young women and are having beautiful, innocent children that don't need to be brought up thinking all of this is okay! You deserve better- we all know that! Now do something about it!!!

I really am not trying to sound too harsh, but the reality is is that it's time to do something and not just complain about it. There are ways of finding support elsewhere. Take responsibility for the actions that got you here in the first place, and then work to make things better- don't just sit around and take it!
