Update on my baby girl!

Okay well my daughter was born March 18 and she is doing very fine. She is 2 weeks old. She is still on her oxygen to give her that extra push. She is up to 23 cc and she is taking it very well. The doctors took her of the iv i think it was Sunday. She has been gaining weight. She weighs 2lbs 12.5 ounces. Her birth weight was 2lbs 10.7 ounces. She had been losing weight but she has been gaining weight and i am very happy! I just want to thank everyone who has been praying for my daughter and i want to ask for yall to keep praying for her! I am just very happy that she is doing very good! I can't wait till the day the doctors tell me i can bring her home!

Congrats on her doing good! I'd hate to have a preemie, such a scary thing! How far along were you when you had her?

Yay! 2 weeks down is 2 weeks less that you have in the NICU! I always got through it by thinking of it that way =)

Wow, thats frigen scary... I am due 3 days before you were! *eek* I am so glad your little girl is doing well though!! Thats awesome, your in my prayers!

Wow.. im glad to hear shes doing better!! I think I missed the first post so I will keep her in my thoughts & prayers now. =] I hope she gets to come home with ya pretty soon!

My son was a preemie when he was born. He had to be place on oxygen as well and the nurses had trouble feeding him because his little body could barely even drink an ounce. I was scared shitless but, with faith he's doing fine and the doctor let me bring him home when i got to go home. I'll keep praying for you and your little one.

I had just turned 28 weeks when she was born. I was scared but them i thought God knows what he is doing and i trust him. So i put all my faith in God.

My son was born at the end of 36 weeks. All you can do girl is put your faith in God. Like you said he knows what he is doing. 

I am glad to here that she is doing good!!!!

Thats why, when my daughter was born at 28 weeks, we named her Faith! =)

aww that is scary! but yeah all you can do is put your faith in God.

I trust my Lord and Savior! I know that my little girl is going to be fine. God blessed me enough to have my first baby and i know he will bless me in making her better so she can come home! My daughter is doing very good. The doctors expect her to be in the level 3 NICU for about 4 to 5 more weeks. I just can't wait till i can actually bring her home and just carry her and just love her and be with her all the time! But please everyone please keep her in your prayers! Her name is Gabriella Renee Napolitano!
