I will have to look that up... When my mom was diagnosed as a sociopath, they also said she had "borderline personality disorder".... I looked it up, and it is pretty much the same as a sociopath.

antisocial personality disorder is what psychopaths (like serial killers) are now killed.

Me too ... and I don't think I'm a sociopath. Promiscuis, attention seeking, and suicidal yes ... but not having a social conscious that's a bit out of the realm.

I did some interesting reading the other day.

I googled for children with excessive empathy and read this:

I've not looked much into autism before, to know anything about the theories behind it.

So I totally cannot read 100 pages..
Has there been any updates? Is she out of jail? Has she attempted to make excuses for herself?

From what I have gathered since I did in fact read all 150 pages...There is to be a court date, either Jan. 4th or Jan. 6th (court records say one date relatives have been said to have said another date) so she still is in jail but I don't know if anyone has been talking to her directly...only the detective/da or family members like sisters so I don't think she's had the opportunity to make any excuses for her actions.

The last I read was like page 60 & I haven't been able to be on BG in a while.. I'm glad she's still sitting in jail, that's for sure!

thanks for linking that article. as an aspie, it makes sense to me. it seems like a valid theory. i might seem uncaring to some people, especially in person, but thats simply untrue. its like i have an emotional antenna, the way i can feel what others are feeling, its like i'm dialed in or something. instead of expressing that i sense whatever it is thats going on, i just shut down. i don't know if i'm making any sense here. lol.

It makes sense to me, my son is similar...he senses others emotions/feelings before they even say how they are feeling sometimes. Hes super intuitive.
