I sleep in a tank top with a pair of undies under a sheet. He sleeps in a shirt, boxers, shorts, and sometimes pj pants under a thick comforter lmao.

Haha, sounds like my husband. I could be naked, and still be hot. Where he sleeps in pants, and under the comforter. I'm like, seriously?!

Getting grief from the due date girls on the FB page   I can't help I have things to do, and I feel like smurf cus my SO is at work & I can't keep the house clean! My back aches, it's constant right now & is worse then the hip pain & tailbone pain I have been having. I loaded & unloaded the dishwasher (which I havent done since my diaper party ((July 4th)) And I tried to wash some by hand but my back hurt just standing there! I managed to fold one load of laundry. I made up my sons bassinet & packed up some of my hospital bag! Mostly I been sitting around. Yes I had bad contractions last night, yes I have been having contractions on & off for days, it's the norm for me, I can't sit on my ass & twiddle my thumbs, I have a household to run! Argh, sorry had to vent!

From what I've read seems like you have had all kinds of smurf thrown at you. Hope it stops soon and you get to meet your bundle of joy! Obviously your dr. doesn't have a problem with him coming soon since he took you off the medicine.

They can't expect life to stop just because you are pregnant and having contractions. Just because you are near the end doesn't mean you are broken!!! (besides for actually feeling like you are haha). If I waited for people to do things for me here, nothing would ever get done! Same with you. And again, I agree that if you and the baby wasn't ready, the doc wouldn't have stopped your meds. I get that they think you HAVE to be pregnant for 40 weeks, but you don't. I'm in the same boat as for my back hurting all the time. It's some of the worst pain of my life. I want it done too. But it's not like we are going out and running a marathon to make our babies come. We just aren't sitting on our asses.

Sounds similar to me. I've been having contractions for a week. They are getting stronger and more regular. Meds don't work for me to stop them. I'm expected to deliver around 36 weeks normally anyway with my clotting disorder. I'm getting more and more uncomfortable with the contractions and he's dropped with head down in position now so it's a lot if pressure down there and it burns a lot. My doctor doesn't care if I'm dilated so not checked. In my case my water will break early, so that's what we're waiting for. I have polyhydramnios so there is extra pressure in there. At last check AFI was 32 and the top end of normal was around 22 for my gestation. I go in again tomorrow so we'll see what they say about everything then. My SO is freaking out that I'll have the baby before he gets back from his business trip on Friday. I'm not so sure, but I'm ready to be done with the discomfort considering I'm still working full time. And I made it to the goal of 34 weeks so my doctor is comfortable with me delivering anytime now (and the amnio at 32-1/2 showed enough lung maturity to not need steriods).

Identical twins are usually delivered at 36 weeks ;) After that point, there are some risks so it's safer out than in. I had steroid shots a month ago though.

grief?....sorry for being concerned Teri... you literally update about all the mass cleaning you're doing, and then ten minutes later tell us about how much pain you're in. Nobody is "giving you grief" honey.. just saying, if you're in so much pain, maybe you should slow down...pain isn't usually an indicator to keep doing what you were doing prior to the pain. we get it, you have a household to run, but i'm sorry, i wouldn't constantly put myself in agonizing pain and stress because my family didn't know how to clean up. that would just be motivation for me to teach them how to do certain tasks around the house because #1 I'm pregnant and unable, and #2, when the baby comes, I won't be able to do it all. but whatever.. everyone runs their household differently. You're entitled to vent anywhere you want..but don't get the story twisted =)....good luck with your pregnancy, and i hope you feel better in the days to come...

If you are in pain from doing those tasks or are risking your babies coming early, you should be taking it easy. Its not good for you or your babies to push yourself for no reason. Dishes can wait. Or someone else can help you.

I haven't read much on FB in a few days, but I am sure based on anything anyone has ever told you or anyone else that is very ok with having a premie is with care not to be rude.

I'm sure there's a lot I could do around here. But I'm worried if I do it all now, what will I do in the weeks to come? Granted, most of what I could do is daily stuff, but that's the stuff that I don't want to do haha! I really want Friday to get here so I can have more of an idea of how big this baby is now and to make sure my fluids are ok. I feel like I look smaller, and I know that's normal but it didn't happen with my first. I'm ready to be done poking myself. That is seriously my biggest complaint. Then it's my back, but I know there is nothing I can do about that. Friday seems to be taking forever to get here!!
