Well, I ddin't put Adison's 4th pics up yet, I worked til 6 and then I went to Target w/ Mike while Adison was at his mom's house...had to get more wipe refills & stock up on baby food again.  She eats a jar of fruit in the morning, and a jar of fruit plus half jar of vegetable in the evening.  She has 2-4 tbsp of cereal w/ each baby food meal too...little piggie goes through food QUICK!  It's only like 1.00 for a 2 pack (of the gerber in the plastic container) but it adds up quick!  We replenished our supply of what she has eaten already, plus we got green beans, squash & sweet potatoes to add to her menu...so that will get us through about 2 more weeks of "new foods," since we do 4-5 days of a food before introducing another new one.  After that, I think she will have eaten all of the Stage 1 fruits & vegetables...and by that point it will be about time for her 6 month checkup.  Oh, I got single grain oatmeal for her to try too, hopefully she will like that more than the rice...since some of you guys have your babies eating oatmeal, I figured it was worth a shot

For everyone going through teething, we got something at our shower that I used the other day:

It is the Sassy Teething Feeder.  You put a piece of baby friendly food (I did a chunk of banana) in it and baby can chomp on it, the food will mash through the mesh pouch so they get to eat it, but it doesn't let big chunks through, so the choking hazard is taken care of.  I chilled thebanana, it seemed to make her really happy, after being really fussy from teething (she has one poking throuhg, just not all the way yet..ugh!).  Warning: this makes a MESS, so strip the baby down to his/her diaper and put him/her on a towel or something to protect whatever is around.  It's 7 bucks, and you can buy the mesh pouch refills (they are a few bucks for a pack of refills).  SO worth it, plus once Adison figured out how to hold it to her mouth she just loved chewing on it.  Hope that will help some of you, it seemed to keep her attention more than chewing on a blankie or washcloth, and it was easier fo rher to mash in her mouth than a teething ring.

Also, I put a TON of Adison's clothes in a big bag today, I have to pack them up in a box because she is quickly outgrowing her 0-3 month clothing.  Onesies and a few outfits that ran bigger still fit in 0/3, but anything w/ feet or that doesn't stretch she needs in 3-6..yay! She is getting BIG!

I was wondering about ice, I didn't know if it would be too cold for a baby. But if someone else has tested it out already, then I'll try it too. Haha you guys are my unknowing guinea pigs..well, your babies are.  I am going to try oatmeal tomorrow.  Oh, and yesterday she had a mouthful of peas and tried to blow a raspberry..needless to say, her WHITE red & blue dress is now also green.

Lydia likes to get ice in hers.  She has tasted a tiny itty bitty piece of my nanners twice, but we've only done rice cereal yet.  We're waiting until she is taking in larger portions.  Right now she's maybe eating a tablespoon of the rice cereal.  We're not in a hurry, though.  I think I've explained our philosophy on that.

We have had a really good fourth week/weekend, but man am I exhausted.  We haven't been home since Tuesday last week! Except to sleep twice now.  I used to live like this all the time at 20 before we were married and had Lydia.  I would come home at like 4 every night and then leave the next morning.  I was never home for long!  Now, I am a homebody.  I would rather be at home with my husband and baby than anywhere else.  But, we've had a great weekend with our families and tomorrow my family is coming over to swim then we are going to their house for a cookout (we live in an apartment and they have a better grill).

so Kendall did something new today... she crawled up to me (still not used to the mobile baby) and then pulled herself to a stnading (but bending over) position and then just sat up!!!!! I was shocked!!! she gets around our livingroom pretty fast now....she is army crawling and normal crawling all mixed together. She has also started some new noises.... she does babababa now and tried a little mamamam and dadada, but I don't think she meant to do those. she also has started like growling and squealing new squeals! My mom and I were remarking that she becomes a totally new baby like every 2 weeks!!!

That is cute!  Adison tries SO hard to crawl, but she really just slides around...She is trying to do a combo crawl & army crawl I think..  She gets on her stomach, which she is a pro at now, and pushes up on her hands or on her forearms, and then tries to push herself w/ her legs (but she's not UP on her knees).  So basically she looks like a fish trying to swim out of water    hehe it's funny though, mbut she gets so mad and then she cries bc she is not going anywhere.

So, last night was so bad!  Adison went to sleep like normal, and she was sleeping soundly.  I was sleeping soundly for that matter. Then the screaming began, and it was coming in over the monitor. So I got up to check on her, and she was on her stomach at the other end of the crib from wherhe I put her (she always moves around a lot in her sleep) and SCREAMING at the top of her lungs.  So I flip her  back over and notice that her diaper has that huge "full" puffiness to it.  So I check it, and yes, time to change the poopy diaper.  So I change her and she was all happy and playing while I did it, and I was trying to keep her quiet so she would go back to sleep (it was 2 am).  So she goes in her crib, takes the paci, and lays there so I leave the room, she cries, I go in and give the paci back and turn on her aquarium soother. Then I fell asleep again, and woke up in an hour to the screams!  Went back in her room, she was on he rstomach trying to crawl and screaming    So flip her over, give the paci, turn on the soother, go to my room.  Screaming.  Flip, paci, soother. Scream.  Flip paci soother.  Screamflippacisoother.  ooooooooohmyyyyyyyyyyygoooooooooood.  Seriously, it was about 3 hours of back and forth, and of course I would fall asleep for like 2 minutes.  I am exhausted, and though it is my day off, here I am awake, because we have to go to church w/ my mom, since her friend's grandson will be there (and theparents are in the army, going to germany in a couple weeks for 2 years, so they want the babies to meet).

Longwinded...sorry if I am running on w/ my sentences...I am exhausted though.  Too tired to make coffee, so I just turned on teh pot from yesterday's leftover and reheated it.  Too impatient to wait for it to get  hot, so it's lukewarm.  oy.

I am going to check craigs list and hopefully find some  yard sales going on today because I want something to do this afternoon.  Talk to you guys later, hope your babies are all letting you sleep! ;-)
