going to be induced wednesday

So I found out today at my dr's appt that I'm going to be induced Wednesday at 6:00AM.. My dr said that I'm developing pre eclampsia so it's not under good circumstances but I'm excited that I'm going to get to meet my little boy soon!!!   YAY!

Thanks!! Umm pretty much the only name my husband and I could agree on!! LOL!

Good Luck! I was induced for the same reason. Hopefully yours will go faster than mine did. 23and a half hours worth of labor was sooooo not fun.

What did they use to induce you? My dr said something about some kind of gel or something that they would put on my cervix because it's still a little thick (2 weeks ago I was 50% effaced) and I found out today that I'm 1cm dilated.. But my dr said that after they put the gel on then they will start me on pitocin..

cervadil I took it orally and then after no change they put it right on the cervix
