If you are a teacher

Or just have a good idea for me. What would be a good gift to get from a student's parents? I'm not a great baker and you never know about allergies and what not so I didn't want to bake anything but I'm trying to think of something nice to get my son's teachers especially because they are wonderful.
ETA: for Christmas

Teachers get so much stuff for Christmas (mostly junk), I LOVED getting gift cards!

I teach.... kids parents don't get me anything! hahaha
Gift cards are great, a bunch of the teachers from another school do 'secret santa' the female teachers write what they want and it's usually a massage or mainicure certificate.

From working in a classroom for two years as a Teachers Assistant, I've seen a LOT of gift cards come in and out. Whether it's to get nails done, or to a book store, or even just to Wal-Mart; a lot of people choose this route because that way there is no risk of an allergy coming into play (foods/scents) or buying them something they'll never use.
But if you happen to know the teacher on a better level or if you'd like to get them something more personal than just a gift card, I've seen gift baskets that were either bought whole or assembled by the parent ahead of time. They're really quite beautiful! You can get candy baskets, chocolate baskets, coffee/hot chocolate/cocoa baskets, and candle baskets. Or if you're the creative type you could combine a few of the above for a surprisingly cheap gift that looks more expensive than it is! Haha
Anyway, hope this helps! Good luck and I'm sure the teacher will appreciate whatever you do end up buying!
