Overdue with second baby.

So yep I'm overdue, 4 days  , I was 9 days over with my son as well. If you went overdue in your first pregnancy how far over if at all did you go over in your second?

1 day over due with my daughter (first pregnancy)
5 days over with my son, then they induced, had him the next day. so really 6 days

Yep, it's looking highly probable! Really thought i would have had her by now!

I was overdue with both my sons, first son was 5 days over, labour started with contractions in the morning (6-7am), went to hospital, but had to have waters broken, had him at 15.20pm in afternoon.
Second son, was 8 days over, had a sweep at around 12.30pm and had him at 16 40pm in the afternoon.

I know they werent completely natural, but i just wanted to post!

Dot on day with my first boy but 4 days over with my second boy, had them both natural with no sweeps ect

I had my first 4 days overdue after being induced, my 2nd I went into labor naturally and he was 3 weeks early.

Everyones totally different then I see. I had my son 2 days after i had my stretch and sweep, so he was 9 days over. Im booked in to have another stretch and sweep on thursday so i will be 6 days over then.

I was 8 days over with my first and 4 days with my second

Lol, until they took her out... 10 days after she was due. My son (my first kiddo) was forcibly evicted at 9 days. Curious to see if all had still been safe and going well just how long I would have been pregnant for.

5 days with my Son, 5 Days with my Daughter(who was due on her Brothers Birthday)

I have a question, you guys.

So, if you go past your due date, your OB may not allow you to go 2 weeks overdue to see if you'll go into labor naturally? What's the earliest they will induce you if you go past your due date?

I think it all depends on the Dr.

Here in the uk they won induce til two weeks late unless its on strong medical grounds

I would have had a choice to go the 2 full weeks but with my son there were signs that my amniotic fluid wasn't replenishing and his heart rate was looking off so we induced earlier than we planned, at 8 days. Had him the next day by emergency cesarean.

With my daughter she was an attempted VBAC and so my dr (different dr) wouldn't induce but, again, we discussed going to 42 weeks before a repeat cesarean but circumstances dictated we go ahead at 10 days past.

Some dr's are more keen on going fully to 42 weeks than others, some will bring up induction right away, and in the end it's up to the mother how she wants to proceed.
