Son shares too much!!!

My son has recently started sharing his bowel movements with me. Yes, he tells me what he does in the bathroom and whether or not it stunk. haha.

I was wondering if any other moms/dads have had this experience?

It's called motherhood!! They all do it!!

Even the ones who are 18 or 25 years old do it.

lol. i've got used to it and i try to ignore it. one thing he does that drives me crazy is if he stinks it up in there, he'll sometimes just shut the door and without air freshing. i don't wanna walk into death!!!

I'm always sharing with the fiance'.... Usually (past relationships) I would hide it and not talk about it... with him though, he doesn't get the same courtesy. I feel comfortable with him so therefore I tell him.  

OP... as much as it may not be something you want to hear about... at least he's comfortable coming to you with that information. Hopefully he'll come to you when there are more important matters at hand as well.

Mine too.. he will sometimes even send me pictures of them via text message.. that's taking it a little too far! lol.. but I mean, sometimes I still show my mom my poops if I'm proud of them! LMAO

My son is 5 and yes I go thru this. My son is very open with me. If its a different color he will yell for me to come look at it. If its taken to long he'll yell for me to come help and he loves to call me in the bathroom just to ask if he stinks. If i say yes he'll say "well get out!I'm going booboo"

lol. my boyfriend said that he has thought about sending me pictures but he hasn't done it. every since i got pregnant, i've been letting him know about mine and he just looks at me like and says "i don't wanna know that". well too bad, i'm telling you anyways, thats what you get!!!

Oh my goodness... that is too funny.  

lol! This morning before school my son felt the need to tell his bus driver that he pooped. LOL!

Yeah, my hubby lets me know that he is going to take a 'Doot' as he calls it. My son will tell anyone who comes to the house "Hi, my dad is taking a dump. He'll stink it up like I do."

So, when i feel the urge to pee, I let him know that I am going to go pee and he is always like 'Thanks for sharing'. LOL! Turn about is fair play I guess. They share with us, why not share with them?

Turn about is definitely fair play... My fiance' tells me that he has to go all the time... Recently I started doing the same thing to him, and what do you know?!... He says the same thing to me as your son does to you, "Thanks for sharing".
