3D/4D ULTRASOUND...WERE U HAPPY...

With the outcome of your 3d/4d u/s...i was told that the cut off point is 32 weeks and i get mines april 2nd (ill be 32wk and 3 d.) just curious if you were satisfied with the outcome...basically is it worth it? imma go regardless cause im a feen...just curious to know though.

Well I am pregnant with twins and it's from 24-27 weeks... I got it done at 25.5 weeks... and I was satisfied. It's a really neat experience. I was kind of bummed that I didn't get good pictures of my daughter, because my son always was pushing her out of the way to get captured (he's my ham already). None the less, having a DVD of the whole thing is worth it in itself. It's really amazing. Some people think it's really scary looking, but I can totally see my husband in my son, and it's just awesome! Good luck, and I hope you are satisfied  

i didnt pay for mine so i was happy with what i got.. they were really good pics of her face... are u paying to get them done?

I am SO glad I did it - it was seriously worth every penny. I was 30 weeks when I had mine.

Yeah its only one hundred plus tax...pics and dvd.

Very satisfied! I wasn't satisfied with the DVD I got because the video wasn't long, but the experience of seeing my son in such detail has really boosted the bonding process, especially for my husband.

Yeah im so curious to what he's doing in there and the bonding would be the part i look most forward to!!! hey,your due date is one day after mines!!!

If you look at my profile, you can see a topic I posted with a link to a short 3d slideshow of my son. I got it done @ 29 weeks.
I wouldn't know how it would look as far along as we are now. My son has already dropped!

im 20 weeks and would like to have it done but when do they recommend you do it ?? i heard around 30 weeks,, i dont wanna do it too early but not too late either,,

I say 28-30 weeks... But you should research the one that you would like to go to, and it should tell you in the FAQ's when the best time to go is. I think every practice defers.

I tried to get mine done at 25 weeks and lil Brooke would not let us get good pictures...so the place did not charge me and told me to come back at 28.5 weeks, saying that we should get better pictures then. I had felt Brooke flip earlier that day and the ultrasound tech said thatshe may have beenkind of irritated in her new position, at least that is what appeared to be going on. I cannot wait to go back!

I was 28 weeks when I had mine.  I was actually disappointed in the whole experience.  I had to wait about an hour and a half (I had an appt!), and my son had both arms and legs in front of his face almost the whole time.  I got a couple good pics (you can see them in my album), but overall, it was just ok.  I probably would do it again though...I just love seeing him.  Even if he was being stubborn!

I did mine at 14 wks 6 days to find out the sex, and it was totally worth it, so I'd assume it'd be even more fun later on. I got a 15 min DVD out of it and everytime I watch it, I tear up, and revel at how cute her movements are. It's definitely worth it as a keepsake and to show your baby later when he/she grows up.
