I have a problem can someone help me

Hi, ladies i am having a bit of a problem and i was wondering if someone can help me out here. I recieve cash assistance through the state and i have to go to this thing called job search well i've gone every week since February and never had any problem. well when i go what happens is every week i have to bring in these papers with 20 employer contacts that are by me walking in someplace and filling out an app and i need 20 employer call back contacts well anyway last week they said i put down aplace that was closed on accident and i said i went there and filled out an app and so they are threatening to stop my cash assistance unless i come up with a good reason as to why i put down a place that was closed. i know its wrong to lie but i have no source of income right now except my assistance and i can't afford to lose it so does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do or say.

i would say you should quit trying to f*ck the system and go out and really look for a job! those programs are out there for people that need them and really are trying their hardest! ugh!

Stop lying to them and start actively trying to get a job.

Because i have a felony and no one really wants to hire me but i actually have been out looking and not every contact i wrote down was wrong because i do go out and look and try its just hard when you have no vehicle and your pregnant and have a felony because no one wants to hire me.

but I'm from Michigan and just qualified for cash assistance so I can empathize a little. I actually am getting lucky and don't have to do any of that stuff because I'm only going to be eligible for a short time since I'm getting married in 2 1/2 weeks. I'll get it all at once, and then be done with it.

When did the place close? Can you say you applied before it closed, or is it a chain? Can you say you put the wrong location down by accident?

My bf works and i dont ... if we didnt have wic and foodstamps we would not be able to afford our bills expecially since a month of formula for my little one is outragiously expensive... she has to drink special formula.
I think that if you got a job you should def stop getting the assistance and no matter what in the end you will get caught if you try lying to them. my mother did that and she ended up havign to pay them back

fast food joBs will usually hire you regardless (ignore the random capital B. my computer won't type it unless it's capital)

If you are signed up for this program, why aren't you actively LOOKING for a job, instead of lying and putting down companies you haven't even been to? If you really wanted to get a job from this program and not JUST the money, I'd think you would want to be out there honetsly looking.

Either way it's probably not a good idea to ever put a place down that you don't actually go to, because if they checked in and found out that place was closed I'd assume chances are they're checking up on your other places too.

If they find out you didn't really apply to another place on your list too they'll probably just end your CA and be done with it.

fast food, walmart, grocery stores...sure they won't have a problem hiring a felon.. felons do get jobs ya know.
