Due Dates

so WHY is it that in the first 2 weeks of pregnancy you arnt even pregnant. ok so i UNDERSTAND how it works but on this site on week one the egg is fertilized, how can that be???

They start counting pregnancy from the first day of your last period, so there are two weeks, where you arent pregnant. Don't ask me why, but thats what they due. For instance, I am just about 30 weeks pregnant... but my daughter has only been in me for about 28 weeks.

True enough, but what do expect-- its medical professionals who come up with this stuff... only THEY can understand it... haha.

TOOOOO LONG!

Pregnancy includes MORE than just the child being in you. They count those two weeks becuase your body is technically preparing you for a child. Your bodyis MAKING the child so... that's why they say you are pregnant for 9 months but it takes 10 months to MAKE a baby. I know thats a months different but don't forget 38 weeks is technically considered full term.

I'm aiming for 38 TOPS! hahaha My husband gets mad at me becuase I have this whole action plan about walking, pelvic tilts, squats and raspberry tea. I just am terrified to be LATE and then have him be too big and have to have a c-section.

Lol, I'm sorry to say, I've tried it all, and it's not working. lol BUT I hope to god it works for you. Lol. I have tried everything but castol (sp?) oil, which I refuse to try. And I'm still only 1cm dilated.

haha yeah, I know I am dillusional. My luck, he will be late. I just figure it might help the time pass. I refuse to try castol oil too. I have heard some scary stories!!
