how much formula does ur 3month old eat per day??

My DD is eating about 21-25 oz per day.. she is eating 3oz per feeding.. Is this normal? Does your baby eat 4oz? She seems content not like she's starving... do i change the amount when she seems more hungry in between feedings or do i change it already?

HELP! oohh and i use advent bottles the size 1 nipple am i supposed to be changing the size too?

If shes still hungry give her more. Its that simple. I dont really remember why i changed nipples lol i think i just did to see if he liked it and if he didnt changed back.

i read at 4oz or 8 you should be using size 2 idk.. my 4oz bottles came with size 1 nipples..so i'm assuming since she is still eating 3oz. she is fine with a size 1...

The second size was too fast for LO until she was 6 months.
I dont remember how much she ate but it was probably about the same.
Just feed her as much as she wants when she is hungry, if she spits up it is too much.

Dimitri has been eating 6 oz every 4 hours since he was 2 months. He's 3 1/2 months now and has been eating more often because I started him on rice cereal 2 weeks ago. I'm starting giving him rice cereal twice a day today. Do you formula feed or feed her breastmilk through the bottle? I formula feed but my cousin's daughter is the same age as Dimitri and is breatfed and only eats 3 oz per feeding. I still use size 1 nipple. I will be switching to size 2 at 4 months.

okay.. my LO seems fine on 3oz. she's eating well, no spit up and been going about the same amount of time between her feedings. averaging the same amount of oz. per day each day.. just curious what others are doing...

My 3 month old son eats anywhere from 2-5oz a feeding. Sometimes he eats every hour or he can go all night without eating. But he is a BIG boy.

If shes fine dont worry about it.

My son eats around 4 1/2 - 5 oz every three hours..hes a greedy one lol

Mine is too. He was almost 13 lbs at his 2 month born 6lbs 13oz. I need to weigh him cause I know he's much heavier now. He's got a LOT of muscle tone. He just grew out of 3-6mo clothes and is in 6-9mo now even fitting in some 12mo. He has a long torso and a big head lol I feel like he's eating too much now seeing how much you all are feeding your 3mo olds but doc said he was doing great and keep doing what we're doing and go ahead and start him on rice cereal at 3 months.

Yeah, at my son's 2 month check up, he was over 14lbs and over 24in. He has a huge head and fits in 6-9 month clothes too.

I'm glad mine's not the only one then! lol

mason will be 3mo on the 9th, and i just upped his ounces to 6oz. and he only eats about 3 tomes a day (not including middle of the night feedings where he eats 4oz every 3 hrs). at his 2mo appt he was 13lbs 5.5oz, and 23in long

LO is going to be 3 months in a few days he's drinking A LOT more per feeding. He drinks between 4-5oz. Every 3-4 hours. I haven't changed nipple size yet though.
