Any other 15 year old Mummies? Or Mummies to be?

posted 4th Nov '11
So I'm 15-years-old and expecting my first child, a little boy. I'm 23 weeks and calling him Dawson. I just wandered if there's another other expectant mums who are 15, or have had their babies and are 15/16.

Thank you mummies!! It's so good to actually have people wishing well on me! It's hard enough knowing that it's not the most ideal situation as it without criticism, so thank you!!

Congrats and good luck! Motherhood is hard no matter your age, so don't let people make you feel bad about the best thing ever!

Definitely planning on staying in school, it's gonna be hard 'cos I'm due in March and my exams start in May, but it's all for my little boy!!

I was 19 when I had my first, but let me tell you, age has nothing to do with how you parent. It's going to be a long, frustrating journey. Good luck!

That's a great attitude! Everything will revolve around your little guy and he'll be the apple of your eye no matter what age you are!

Good luck =)

Thank you. I plan to finish and get to college. My SO works full time as he;s a bit older and finished school but he's been really supportive of my choice to stay in education.

a girl I knew had her son a week before her exams started and she got to do them at home in her PJs with breaks to breastfeed! so it is doable. And I did my exams with morning sickness!

Luckily my school have been really good about it and days when I'm feeling particularly ill in the mornings they e-mail work to me so I can keep up with what's going on. It's gonna be hard work, but I'm gonna do it without a doubt
