Your not helping or protecting your child by staying with them.

Then again people get scared and arent sure how to respond.

I was raped by a friends dad for during the two day weekend i was there. i said nothing and didnt fight back because i couldnt believe what happen and i was scared. it took almost a week before i confessed to my brother.

This kid is a BABY, a mother is meant to protect her baby, yes?

She broke up with him, that's not enough in MY eyes, his ass needs to be in jail, so he doesnt ever do that smurf again.

She took her kid to the doc 3 days later...

And she lied to the police and said it didnt happen, didnt she?

From what I gathered she told them it did, but it was considered "attempted" or whatever. And, if you have a lazy system in your area, they aren't going to mess with something they cannot prove. Especially if it didn't happen YET. Sad, but it happens all the time.

Although for her, it seems to be harder because her friends and family are not supporting her and they are telling her she basically is over reacting

Not at first, which is why people are so heated. It took DAYS to convince her to take her LO to the doctor, to stop worrying about her SO and focus on her kid.
