Christmas in Florida???

Hi Ladies,

Hubby and I are thinking of spending Christmas in Florida at Disney World,
so the question is what is the weather like around that time of year?
Will be wet.cold, warm, hot??? or a bit of all four

Very warm...about 70 degrees or so. My family lives in Tampa and they are always out by the pool Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Im jealous!   I sit at home bundled up with snow on the ground at Christmas where I live.

I'm jealous of a Disney Vacation too....I have to wait until 1) I actually have my baby [lol] and 2) until she's old enough to enjoy it!

we have snow now..and its coming up to April..

The snow around here has mostly gone away for the time being, but that's only because it rained a few days ago, and it took most of the snow with it...

I'm sure it'll be back by next weekend, just because I really don't want it to come back. haha

We've been spending every other Christmas at our timeshare in Orlando for the past 12 years. I would pack a mix of clothes. It can be in the 70s or the 40s-50s, depending on the year. I've seen snow there before at Christmastime. So I'd say one or two pairs of shorts, a pair of jeans, t-shirts and at least one good sweatshirt or windbreaker-type jacket. BTW, Christmas at Disney is so much fun! I can't wait to start this tradition with my kids. This coming Christmas will probably be the first one our son will really remember and we'll be at Disney again!

Thats what we are thinking my son will be 4yrs in Jan, so we are thinking is it the best time to take him or not.
my other three children all went when they were 8,10,12, which was a good age as they could go on most rides,..
DisneyLand Paris will be to cold..

hehe. I know what you mean...I live in Ohio...did you get that big snow storm a while back? OMG...we were stuck in the house for days.

Ive heard its nice at Chirstmas time as well with the rides etc...
last time we went was 4yrs ago, during Aug, and the weather was bit of both,
so hence why i was wondering if it was colder at in Dec...

Ahhhhh I hate you! I have to wait another month before we're back in Florida. I need this vacation and it can't come soon enough!
