Oh you poor thing! God i bet those hurt! I have heard people swear by Bio-oil...and i think mederma is supposed to lighten them up afterwards. idk if it is safe to use while pregnant tho. But bio-oil is the newest thing that EVERYONE is talking about.

Bio oil & Vitamin E oil is meant to be great .. But I've also heard that it doesn't work for everyone.

Good luck!

Thats whats weird too, they dont hurt. And they didnt when i got them.... I have like one major one on the bottom of my stomach thats kind of like a welt... It actually is coming up from my skin..[ew] and that kinda hurts sometimes but otherwise none hurt....
And i've never heard of bio oil but im definetly looking it up. lol

I had a hernia repair operation a few years ago and the surgeon told me to apply Vitamin E cream in a concentration of at least 100,000 IU to the scar because my mom has a history of keloid scars and he was afraid I would get them, too. I applied the cream every morning and night and you couldn't find that scar now if you were looking for it. It's worth a shot, I remember I got this huge jar of it at Sams. I don't know what else to suggest, I really sympathize with your situation!!! Good luck!

i got my first marks (literally over night) when i hit 35 weeks

Ever since, i have been applying Bio oil AND Vitamin E oil on my belly almost 3 times a day  . Im not only doing it for the stretch marks that i've already gotten, but im also doing it bc after you have your baby, your belly will get those light/white stretch marks (from your skin going back down so fast)..so im trying to prevent those from being very bad.

ive been using it for like 2 weeks now.
cant really tell if its working or not...
but ive been taking pics of the stretch marks every week so i can compare them later and see if its really working or not

hope that helped?!

I've heard some women talk about this expensive thing that helps great apparently, and I've seen before and after pics and it does! I'm sorry I don't even know what the name is vaguely, maybe you could ask in Free For All?

Avoid Strivectin... It doesn't really work and its VERY expensive

However, if you invest in a good fade cream, that will help. It takes awhile for it to work, but it does work.
It will start to take the color out of the lines.

Iman used to make a fabulous one back when it was still considered a prestige cosmetic.
However now that they have moved to brand, and you can now buy them in walmart I don't know if it works so well....
I have like 4 tubs of iman fade cream for my daddy's spotty arms (he's old...   ) but it works.

However, if you go to http://www.makeupalley.com You can find reviews on the products that might work for you.
Go to catagorey Treatments under Face/skin and then skip brand name and type in "fade" in the product search. It looks like Avon makes something very affordable $3.50- that people say is working on their scars very well.... That might be worth looking into.
See what products other people have used and read what they say and you might be able to find what will work for you
its a great tool.

Oh hell thats probabky gonna be me soon! sorry you got them so badly! i know there is nothing you can do to prevent them, but maybe it's true that there's something you can do to lighten them up, but even if you don't use anything they will lighten up with time

The nurses at my OB said to buy mederma and put it on 3-4 times a day. It was kind of expensive, but it seems to have lightened mine some already. She also said to put straight vitamin E on them as well.
