Am I the only one? Maybe TMI....

Ok my dh and I have been married just over a yr now and we are now 14 wks pregnant with my third and his first baby and ever since we got pregnant I have been wanting sex like crazy and I have to beg and plead with him to get any sex from him. But he never really wants to have sex and it makes me feel rejected and very unattractive and very fat. I mean I never was a skinny person I've been on the heavier side since I got pregnant with my daughter over 9 yrs ago. But so far with this pregnancy I have only gained 1 lb so its not like I put a bunch of extra weight or anything but i just can't figure out what is going on with him. I've done the best that I can to explain to him that he won't hurt the baby and that I feel rejected and unattractive when I have to continually ask for him to have sex with me. But it just doesn't seem to register with him. I don't know what else I can do. I've even tried wearing one of my nighties and sexy undies and I've even tried boosting his ego you know by telling him he's so cute, sexy, etc. you know things like that. But I just don't know what to do anymore. Any suggestions or advice? Is anyone else having this problem? I feel alone in my situation.

Just kidding...especially since it is HIS first baby...has he gone to an appointment with you? An ultrasound?

I know my man was wierded out by it all and had a hard time thinking he was going to be hurting the baby or hurting me...

And even afterward, because he watched the baby come out and was sooo freaked out and how I had to stretch so much...not to mention the doc had to cut me a little...eww...that grosses me out too, gotta give them a little credit!!

So he will get over it...just keep doing what you're doing!

Yes he has been to every appointment and has seen the ultrasound and has been told by the doctor that it is safe to have sex and that he won't hurt the baby but I don't think that is the problem. I just don't know what the problem is and I so badly wish that I knew what the problem was.

I give my hubby an all out bug hint...as in jump on top of him and just start making out with him...he can't help but get horny he's a man what do you expect?? Then what's he gonna do say no while he's sittin there with a tent in his pants? I don't think so! Try being a little more agressive...I'm not saying rape him (well i might be if it had to come to that for you! sorry if ti does, and I'm not trying to make funny i can relate) but just take the iniative. my hubby says he thinks it's sexy sometimes, and maybe if he gets a few good rounds in and realizes it woin't hurt anything he'll be mroe willing on his own!

Well, my man was really freaked out from the ultrasound!! He admitted it later on, but knowing that he was putting his junk in the same vicinity as our living, heart-beating, little bun in the oven was just plain gross!!

You've only gained a pound!! That is sooooo awesome!! He wanted you a pound ago, so I really don't think it has to do with what you look like!! You are most likely glowing which makes you even more beautiful!!

Maybe it's work, or something completely aside from your life together...but ya, just keep up the pretty panties and the agression and even offer him things that don't require too much participation on his end which might just turn in to what you're looking to get!!

I have had sex maybe three times since we found out that we were pregnant. It's not been me either, it's been all him. I don't know why he is this way, but I think it may have something to do with being afraid that something will go wrong. Neither of us thought we could have children.

Oh, I'm 34 weeks btw.
