Weeks and months..

Was reading about Week 30 today and this is what i got.....

The light is visible at the end of the tunnel! Your oversized self and amazing growing baby have finally reached the single digits (in terms of weeks till birth)!

Not quite sure i understand... aren't there 10 weeks left...? Why all the talk about single digits???

it means after week 30 you'll be in single digits..

I guess you could look at it as you don't have 10 WHOLE weeks left you may have 9 weeks and 6,5,4,3, whatever days. Maybe that is what it means. But then again you could go up to 2 weeks past your due date so nobody really knows how much time we have left. I guess just celebrate being 30 weeks now. CONGRATS Time is about to defy all logic andslow to a snails pace.

Yes, I thought I could escape it because my entire pregnancy just flew by, but then I got to like 32 weeks and that was it. Now I am looking at going PAST my due date and being induced I feel like every day is a week.

yeah I couldn't even imagine.. I seriously hope I don't go past my due date.. I found out Monday though that I'm 50% effaced and that his head is RIGHT THERE.. and my doctor really really emphasized the "right there" part... and just a week ago she couldn't even reach my cervix so hopefully that's a good sign (not that I'm rushing him.. I know he's still developing..) soo are you going to get induced or wait it out?

I am going to end up getting induced. I am having a LOT of trouble with my pain in my hips and my body is showing almost no signs of goinginto labor. I'm only a fingertip dilated and 25% effaced (have been for almost 6 weeks). I am not making any progress I haven't lost myMP not having BH anymore. My doctor was going to strip my membranes last Tuesday to help move things along, but she couldn't get into my cervix (Maybe TMI) So I have an entire fleet of appointments to get the baby checked out and to start the process of my induction. I am really hoping I just go naturally but it doesn't look like.

I can definately understand the time dragging. I've heard it from everyone, and yes the whole pregnancy has gone by very fast, but is slowing down tremendously just this last couple of weeks. I guess i didn't think of it that way, 9 weeks and 6 days *dUh* haha :-p Congrats to you guys and hope everything goes well. What is everyone having?
