My Endo Story, to help other stay positive I hope
posted 20th Feb '07
I'm 20 years old, and will be 21 in September, when I was 15 years old I was diagnosed with endometriosis, and told that I would never be able to get pregnant, and if I ever did I wouldn't carry to term it would be an epitopic pregnancy because the majority of the Endo was located around the fallopian tubes. I'm now do in April, and have only had a minor complication of a short cervix.
My Friend who also has Endo and was told for many years the same thing, had a baby girl in October.
My Fiance's Aunt has Endo, and spent almost $5,000 on fertility treatments, and now has two sons one is 7 the other is 5.
Just keep faith and pray, and you can do it, and if you end up not being able to there are so many children out there that do need families. That's how I always looked at it.
Good luck to all you out there, I know it can look bleak, and my prayers are with you.

Thanks for posting this. I too was DX'd with endo. and was TTC for 4 years before I was successful with an IVF resulting in my twin girls. We TTC again for about 3 years and did IVF (ended in m/c at 5.5 weeks) and tons of IUI's before I decided to take a break this past summer. In Aug. I tried some herbs from another website and we got pregnant in Oct. - I was never so shocked in my life. I never thought I could get pregnant again, let a lone on our own. So there is hope - you are right about that
