Im being induced!

So i went to the doctor today, and at my last appointment i told him about how bad my hips and back had been feeling. At this appointment he asked me about and i told him that they hadnt gotten any better and last night i actually started crying because my back hurt so bad.... So when he checked my cervix and found that im not dialted...at all, he said that he could induce me next week!!    
He also said i have a huge risk factor of the baby being like 8 pounds which would be hard for me during birth so inducing is the best thing right now....
I go to the hospital the 27th and by friday [the 28th] i should have my sweet baby boy!!!!! UGH. Im so excited and so scared at the same time. I only have about a week to get everything done! I've got most of it done though, but still. UGH. Im excited.

Atleast you have a week. My doctor told me that he would set things up for an induction and then he comes in 10 minutes later and says, "Come to L&D at 9pm tonight, we're having a baby tomorrow!" ... My jaw dropped to the floor!

Oh I'm so happy for you!! Back pain can be so horrible! The hips ouch I definitely hated that feeling. I'm glad your doctor is thinking about how having an 8 pound baby will effect your body and has decided to induce you. Mine refuse to induce unless it's 2 weeks after my due date. I definitely feel you on the back pain though. I just went to the hospital last week because mine had me balling my eyes out and I never cry over pain except during back labor with my first born. I'm pretty used to back pain being so tiny yet so top heavy (haha) so for me to be crying because of it is very unusual for me so I know it can be very bad and I really do feel for you having to go through it. Don't stress work on what you can and don't over exert yourself cause that will only make your hips and back worse. Try to relax and feel the excitement that your baby is almost here!!

I was 38 weeks and 2 days though.. =[ but congrats and good luck!! It's exciting expecially when the nurse walks in and checks you and then says, "We're ready to push!"... It almost makes me cry just thinking about it! =D

Lucky! You are due a day before me. I wish they would give me a certain day.   Instead...they put me on bed rest. How nice of them. lol

Ughh.. I definitely hope I don't have to be put on bed rest.. I'm pretty sure I would rip my hair outthe first day!!
