Discharge

I had my first appt today where they start checking your cervix and yeah she told me I could have some spotting, but I just went to the bathroom (over 4 hours after my appt) and had discharge that was brown (chocolate milk color) and kindda lumpy. And I don't just me a trace or looking like spotting. It covered the front portion of my panty liner. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this. I have a call into the doctors office right now and I'm just waiting for a call back but I just thought I'd ask.

Hmm no i never had this.But it could just be some regular discharge
mixing with some blood. Just hope for the best..I hope nothings wrong

my doc (a male might i add) checked me at 36 weeks and i bled for about 24 hours, i swear it felt like he had his whole arm up there, but then the nurse practioner checked me at 37 weeks (a female) and i didn't bleed at all, i would worry about it unless it gets really heavy, but if it does concern you call the doc  

Yeh, that sounds normal. Mine was the same when they checked me both times in the hospital. Nice color, huh?

Brownish spotting is normal after an exam or sexual intercourse. As far as the "lumpy" texture goes, maybe it's your mucous plug coming out??? I'm not too sure. Keep us updated  

Thanks guys. I just talked to the dr and she thinks I'm just starting to lose my plug mixed with some blood from my exam earlier. She said to call back though if I get bright red blood or start having contractions, which I'm not having right now. I was just a little freaked out when I first saw it. Especially since I was drinking chocolate milk and as soon as I saw it thats what it looked like. The color that is. Don't think anything is wrong but I'll post if anything else happens.
