Period?

I know some of this may be a little TMI so I apologize now. Anyways my last period was January 29th and I still have yet to get another period. I took a few test in early March including a blood test and all were BFN's. Well this week I have had very light spotting when I wipe after going pee. (Enter in the TMI section) Well this morning I woke up and me and hubs had sex. When we were finished he has noticed my undies on the floor and made the comment my period was here. I looked at it and it was a large amount of really dark old blood. I immediately went pee and when I wiped there was alot of mucous and a few strings of old blood. What could this be?

Sounds like a period to me.

Hmmm I'm not sure but brown blood is old blood and if your late and took test and they came out negative youshould get blood work done. hmmm lets see i swear there was something else I was gonna say umm oh yeh if you don't start bleeding heavier by tomorrow it's probly not a period.

my unperfessional opinion it was just a weird period.

I have been having weird bleeding too, but I had 2 D&Cs done after my miscarriage in early feb and its been 3 weeks since the last d&c and I started bleeding like spotting (brown) about 4 days ago, it stayed like that for about a day or two then got darker now its almost black in color, very dark red. The Dr said that it could be normal for someone in my situation and that I may stop and start again in another week and its ok as long as its no more than one pad an hour and without a funny odor. So I guess I am kinda in the same situation as you, I have no idea whats going on but sure would like to!

Everytime I had that, it was the last of the blood from my last period and I was preg. Brown blood is old blood, so if you don't start getting pink or red soon, I would call your doc and see what the doc or the nurse think about it.
