... I didn't go to a hospital. I had the baby, then went to sleep at about 3am.

She saw a pedi at 2 months.

ETA: It's not against the law to not see a doctor if nothing is wrong.

Yep, sunny side up, and probably with his head flexed forward so his forehead was presenting.

Yeah I'm thinking he was in some type of awkward position. I went into the hospital 3 times thinking "this is it". The 3rd time, they offered induction and I only said yes because my husband was about to leave for the ship soon and I believe I just needed a little nudge to get it started and then it would be fast.

I didn't really have problems pushing him out or anything. They didn't even know he was posterior until they checked me the last time. They tried to turn him but he wasn't having it. I think he might have been in distress a little, but there was no mec. I didn't need a vacuum or forceps. I pushed him out in like 20-30 minutes, total labor was 6 hours. They said I had a 2nd degree tear. So I'm glad that it wasn't too bad of a labor for having a posterior baby (I had read up on posterior babies after I posted in here).

Kudos to you for having 2 unassisted home births!

For some women, it's normal. And now you know if you go into labor a bajilion times that you can just disengage the baby and let it reengage.

i know this was years ago, but what anamazing story. I hope I can write my UC story so well and remember it so clearly! I agree with a PP, have more children your stories are awesome!
